Helen B, who is a member of the forum, doesn't appear until October 8th, so I guess that today's newbie Helen is another one.

Interesting camera angle for the names flashing up then! Did they show the amounts on the gameboard at the start? Maybe I missed it. :?

no u didnt miss it, Noel didnt do it, it went straight to the name seletcion!

Stan has box 8 today. Stan is a retired printer, and has his wife and daughter in the audience for support today. Stan's wife tells Noel that Stan will play the game his way today, but she is there for support/advice as needed. Stan tells Noel that he would like to meet up with his long lost brother who he lost contact with many years ago, and hopefully his appearance on the show might make that possible. :D

We are happy with that says Noel, and Stan agrees... Noel thinks the banker won't know a lot about Stan as he has been quiet while on the wings... The banker says that Stan is like Wallace & Grommit meets Coronation Street :-D
