Checking stats: they had 16 appearances each in season 1 (1p came seven times, ahead only of £1,000 and level with £75,000).

And after season 2... there we go, 1p is third least common with 18 appearances, trailing only the biggie (17) and £15,000 (16). The rock's on top with 32 appearances, followed by the pound (30) and the £50 (29).
