The producers have certainly gone all out on this one, great set design, interesting costumes, though thankfully the contestants are still recognisable (Well maybe not Haj ) and the boxes look brilliant.

Surprised to see Carly play, i hadn't even realised she was on the radar. Incredible coincidence with her having the same box as Del given what she revealed during the game (Did anyone see that coming?). The bottles twist is an interesting one and a refreshing change from the one-box-at-a-time incentive.

With two chances to double her money the 8 box offer was probably tactically a good place to deal but the threat of halving my money would have put me off and she was incredibly unlucky not to find the right bottle.

Yes, interesting game that, not least as she dealt for an amount she couldn't possibly win! On the whole, I quite like the bottles twist, although it does give the banker quite a bit of an advantage in lowballing the offers a bit more than usual with a potential increase to what some players may be offered outright anyway. Also, as people have said, there is this lingering feeling that another player will go away with nothing before the week is out...

Love the set design and costumes, easy to recognise everyone, unlike the forthcoming Halloween shows where I look forward to discovering what the players looked like! The 'sea' of blue with the lights and the pilgrims works well, too!

I don't know, I don't think it is specifically stated, that only an IA knows, where the 'gold' is in the gimmicks in the special episodes, is it? Noel makes a point of stressing it for the chosen box, but I don't recall him doing it for any of the gimmicks.

I can definitely see why the producers might have meddled to try and prevent her winning that much. She's a young, attractive woman who has already got together with one of the £70,000 winners from a previous show (a signal to the viewer, whether correct or not, that she can play on her looks for money anyway). It wouldn't be that satisfying for viewers to see her win any kind of large amount, so I can just imagine the behind the scenes plotting, to try and 'direct' a less than huge win!

Of course though, they didn't have to disclose her relationship with Del, but I guess that was worth something in itself.

Erm...I for one would have minded seeing a big money win. Who honestly cares if she's going out with Del now? Who honestly cares that Del won £70,000? I for one am not going to be spiteful and say "Oh, I hope Carly loses because she's going out with Del because Del has lots of money already". This train of thought is complete lunacy.

I don't really see how a conspiracy about the bottles has managed to pluck itself out of thin air. Next your gonna say that they wanted her to go away with 1p which is why it was in her box.

To be honest, I was a bit surprised Del wasn't there for her game!
