Keeley today! That was a bit of a shock, although she was obviously wanted for Desert Island Deal (thinking back to when she arrived, she replaced Jenks, whose game was possibly postponed by three days due to him being ill – I’m not sure how planned everyone’s replacement is, but that could have scuppered things a while back).

1p, 10p or £5. I doubted that they would up the number of boxes that they could find, as it would seem unfair to those who’ve played previously, but seeing as it was an accumulation of totals so far I think it worked (and they appeared to need to start getting rid of a holiday or two!).

Strange tactics from the Banker for the first part of the game, it seemed as though he wasn’t going to let her go away with any substantial amount of money - I wasn’t even sure the hypothetical offer of £10,000 for an all blue round would have been fair for that board.

At the second break came the first advert for “Noel’s Hall of Fame”. Do we know what series it is going to be based on? It would seem as though it could only been the current series (5) although I’m not sure we’ve had 15 stand-out games really . The clip showed Corrine (which was a given), and then there’s Ramesh (£77,000), Neil (Dec), Justin (Love Week, £75,000) which are likely as well. It depends, as with Corrine, which other unlucky games will make the cut - Laurence and De are both contends for that category.

Finally at 8-box we had the first “NOTHING” offer of the week – that’s not to say I like that twist, but it’s not often we go a special week without them. I was worried for a second that she was actually going to deal at that point!

£11,000 was the only point at which I found that the banker became fair with his offer and I would have dealt there too, especially with the addition of the 1 bottle.

Shame about the bottles, but still a great ending to the game, and she did very well to get even £11,000 out of that game. Well done Keeley! :D

Although, sadly we had another low value at the table today…1p, £1, £1,000, £10,000 and now the 10p. Let’s hope that we have a power five to finish off the season at least!

Yeah, like the £100,000 which I've been begging to see since Monday

Given how much personality she showed on the wings it was a bit of a shame Keeley got a touch of Stage Fright today, that and some appalling luck in the early rounds seemed to lead to a slightly muted game.
Also a little surprised to find the Banker quite so hostile towards her with regards to offers, while the board was exactly favourable and certainly didn't warrant high offers there didn't seem any particular reason why he should be that stingy - maybe he smelled fear and was trying to prey on a weak player?
Anyway it all turned out good in the end with a reasonable 5 box offer made more tempting by the bottle addition and a somewhat unexpected spanking for the Banker!

Just one more show then...

Yes, strange opening to the game with Keeley getting a bit nervous and the banker being particularly stingy, which got a bit tiresome by the 3rd offer. However, it picked up a little bit towards the end - the deal was understandable with the biggie so isolated, clearly 22k would've been a great result from those five, hence why she was only given a 33% chance of that.

I think I'd score that as an OPW regardless of whether she won 11k or 22k. Mainly because it's easier.

Yep, a relative OPW all round! :D

I've been without the net most of the week, apologies. This week's certainly been interesting to say the least, more than one different twist too!

And as it's already been noted, no big money has come to the table this week. What a way to end the season for that chain to break...bring on the curtain call on Sunday! :)

Definitely an OPW today (if you start counting EW's for offers - things will get complicated).

Not sure why the banker was that mean to her - she didn't exact exude confidence but there was only one offer worth taking today and she took it.

I always like people who don't have a,poker face even though the banker always treats them terribly! But glad she did really well out of it - it's the second time this week we've had a £250k/blue/blue last 3 in proveout and both times the £250k had been hit, god knows how horrible that would been if it had happened in active play twice!

I also couldn't stop laughing at the fact that Keeley obviously had leggings on under her costume, not very "Desert Island" if you ask me! :)

What is really weird is that I watched in on 4OD this morning, but just before it I watched Laurence's game (as it was about to expire from the 30 days archive they have on there) and both games revolved around the number 11 which was really spooky!!

Some of you ask why the Banker was so mean and stingy to her. I think it is because they picked up that she is likely to be an early dealer and they hate it. You only have to see how bonkers Noel goes when someone deals at the 3rd offer and then there was the disaster with Dennis the other day. Again, because of this, I found this one rather uncomfortable to watch and really glad she got a reasonable amount of money.
