Noel pleads Ann to find the £250,000!

Box 19 with Ryan - £10,000

Noel says we have no idea what that means.

And that's a Banker spanking! :smt023

Box 18 with Craig - £15,000

Banker time with 50p and £100 remaining.

Box 15 with Gary contains the £100.

Ann runs through what she'll do with the money.

A mega-spanking. Freaking right. We really, really needed one of those. All hail Ann :D!

Enjoy every penny of that well-deserved £22,000 :D!

Excellent ultra spanking, well played Ann.

Did not take the chicken option on a board very similar to Jeff and was brave enough to get a handsome reward.

Once again though, a male player has failed horribly and much more courage shown by the females this week.

Does this mean all the unwanted titles are taken by males now?

Biggest loser - Jeff
Most unluckiest game - Mark
5 out of 5 - Snowy
Many more male members of the barge!

anymore?

 Three games in a row with a similar run of boxes until 5-box, only this one had a much better ending! :D

I seriously can't believe Noel would come out with a remark like that. That's shockingly terrible and hilarious at the same time. :laughing

Eh? That would've been if 1p had been sold for £44,000! ;) £1 would clearly be 22,000 times, so Joel is right 50p is twice that! :D

Finally, a sensible Deal vindicated. :D :smt023 An excellent game today all around, and definitely a contender for Show of the Month.

That Noel comment frankly reminds me of something a forum member would say to take the proverbial out of a Wakeyist!!

Unnervingly similar to the last two games and it would have been very easy to let that drag Ann into a No Deal she otherwise wouldn't have made and could have desperately regretted. Fortunately, that didn't happen!

Joycey holds the record for the highest amount turned down by a player who won a blue...

The records you mentioned are more down to bad luck than any particular gameplay strategy, so it's more coincidence than anything else that they're all held by men. Could easily have been all women (which 2 of them have previously been). Plus while I agree that Jeff's decision was over-cautious, his board was weaker than Sam's and Ann's, who both still had some 5-figure sums. Just because one man makes a bad decision doesn't mean all male players should be tarred with the same brush. Could be argued that Julian was even braver at 8-box, turning down an offer even more statistically generous!

Back to Ann's game and on the subject of coincidences, it's surprising that she should get a similarly isolated £250k as the last 2 players (and Laura on Monday), considering she had much less in the box. Kudos to her for not letting past games influence her though - if you lose the £250k in the last round, you'd probably need to be prepared to take the box and not rely on offer generosity (particularly on a red/blue finish).
