Lovely contestant, great personality, terrible luck up to 5 box. Glad she got a couple of thousand pounds - although with the £5k in the box, there was never going to be any chance of a disaster.

Noel's excited in the lead-up to Glenda's game. I'm disappointed as I realise it's not Glinda's game. (Joke about a third of you might get.)

ESSEX GIRL! With a pet chihuahua and big hair. Classic Essex.

Jackpot goes in round one, but not much else. Rather good opener for a £100k board, that, and with £75k going next one wonders whether it might be the peak. If so, a second-offer OPW is on, but it's not worth taking.

66? 62? Far more relevant is the fact this is no longer as stable with £50k gone. £7,500 is again good but not the one.

Boom. 1 in 165 chance. Who knew £7,500 really would be the peak? Not me. It gets worse from there too, and we might as well not bother with the ending. OK, four- and three-box offers for padding, blind chasing of what little money remains, and then Noel points out the bleeding obvious at two-box and she works it out. Put it into any other context, that three-box gamble would never have been even considered by her.

Not necessarily true. She could have swapped away the 5k for a blue.

And KP, I'd have thought you'd have been happy with today's game, since Noel was encouraging her NOT to gamble here...

It's still intervening which is annoying but it's a change at least.

Also, funny how she Deals only when that advice comes, despite the three-box offer being even more generous! The No Deal of that is demonstrably irrational given that £2,250 was later accepted.

Well my feelings were mixed there between how cheerfully she took her back luck and her laugh which REALLY grated on me!!

Don't know why they just keep randomly giving one to open (the last round with an active-play 6th round NOT to feature at least one unexpected offer was Harold!!), but it probably did get her a better offer at 2-box than would have been with three to open due to the offers cranking up with every blue, which ironically probably stopped her(swap notwithstanding) from winning the £5k in her box. Oops.

Very, very unlucky. Still could have been worse - someone could have dropped a house on her sister :D

(KP - I think we're singing from the same hymn book there)

That game went entirely the Banker's way and nothing short of a cautious 11 box deal could have saved it for Glenda. There was some nice humour with the photo album early on, but once the board started to collapse it was no laughing matter.

Does make me wonder though, could there ever be a game where the Banker "stuck" for 4 rounds? Could a board ever be that stable?
