Thought I'd bring this back.

Luis: With his flat offers, $129,000

Not risking that kind of money on a one case game, simple as. As I mentioned in the commentary, I would've countered with an offer of $154,000 at the $140k offer, but it would've been too risky for my liking to make a counter offer on a one case game.

Either $140,000 or $217,000 for me, with no counter offer for either. Had I been forced to make a counter offer, I’d have have gone with $145,000 or $220,000. I figure at those points in the game, the Banker would be more likely to reject a counter offer that was more than $10,000 above the original.

Joe: $183,000, with no counter offer. The offers were very low for the board up to that point, whereas that offer was a very generous lifeline that I would not want to risk by asking for just a few grand more (as anything over $200,000 will obviously get declined).

Casey: Definitely $103,000 with her base offer set, with the bonus money turning the $45k and $60k offers from tricky decisions into easy no deals. I may have tried to counter the $60k with an offer of about $75,000, though. I might also have tried to counter the $103k offer with an offer of $108,000 for a laugh had I saved it to that point. :D

I should note that I were playing, I'd definitely mention the average of the board when making a counter offer and that I want to give the Banker a "premium" on it by requesting at least 10% under the average, unless it's a low money game, in which case I'd just ask for the average rounded down.

For Joe's game, I'd definitely have taken the $183,000 as it stood, that was a huge leap in generosity compared to the previous offers and was too much to risk on that board.
For Casey's game I'd have looked at countering the $77,000 offer with $90,000 or so. If that came back with no deal thanks to using it at 8-box, I think I would have gone at $103,000 as well.

Two very tricky games to judge when the right time to negotiate and/or Deal was.

Artis: Probably would've negotiate the average of $45,000 with 5 cases left. With the flat offers, either $39,000 or $25,000 I suppose?

Courtney: Probably would've countered with an offer of $301,000 with 5 cases left, otherwise the next offer wasn't that good of an improvement so I gladly would've taken $425,000.

David: $162,000 with his base offers, though I'd probably try to counter that with something just under $200k.

Jade & Cheryl: Definitely $119,000. Probably wouldn't have risked countering it, as there isn't much more room for it to go up after losing the meaningful safety nets in the previous round.

Robert: Counter at the exact time he did, though I'd probably wouldn't push my luck as much as he did. Probably would've countered with $165,000.

Ally: $70,000 with her offers, though had the special package been something meaningful to me I would've countered that offer with $55,000 + the package, or deal at $108,000 + the package if I wasn't allowed to do that.

Shirinne: Counter with $41,000 + the package if it was something relevant to me (or $53,000 if it wasn't), otherwise $63,000

Bryce: $69,000

Wouldn't have used the counter offer when Bryce did, but the $69k was just high enough on a VERY dangerous board that I probably wouldn't bother with a counter offer.

George: $120,000. It was begging to be taken, and the fact that it wasn’t turned the game into a trainwreck. Greed makes you bleed, folks.

Glad to see you live up to your reputation, Dr. Hindsight.

Sadly, with the State Farm $25k bonus I would've been lured into a crash mayself to $40. :(

Without the bonus, I probably would have countered with $102,000 when there were 8 cases left and dealt $53,000 had that not been successful. $120,000 (while the highest offer of the game in hindsight  ) was considerably less generous than the 2 offers it was sandwiched between.

For what it’s worth, I was watching this game live, and as soon as that offer came up, I knew I’d have taken it. I was yelling at my screen for George to take it, but he chose not to and it cost him.

Kyera: $52,000. Taking a typical Miljoenenacht tactic to the US - dealing at 11-case at a fragile board.

Kyera: Wouldn't have dealt at 11 case. Not going to bother working out what I would've done after that. :P

Carri: $34,000 with her offers. Probably wouldn't have bothered with a counter offer if I had it with 5 cases left.

Kyera: I would have just left the studio and gone home.

Carri: $34,000 + no screaming because I am a normal person.

Max: $211,000, which would've been dealt even if I had my counter offer in play

Tony: $71,000, which would've been good enough of a pifelije that I wouldn't push my luck by making a counter offer.

La’Sherrie: Counter-offer at $204,000 at 5-case, mirroring Heidi Kurtz from 2007 who got that offer with 2 left-side amounts and the same 3 big ones (200k/400k/500k). If refused, $211,000.
