So a $500,000 top prize for daytime? Not bad at all!

Kinda wished they keep the UK format of 5-3-3-3-3-3. But still, we'll see how this pays out...

CONTESTANT SELECTION

A wheel with the 22 numbers is spun, while a ball is placed in the wheel. Which ever number the ball lands on is the numbered case held by the chosen contestant. Also, that player DOES NOT have any family/support for their game, as in the prime time version. Now we can expect some risk takers!

THE BANKER

The Banker for this version will base his offers on how much he likes the players, just like the UK version. Also, he will try to play more psychological games with the players. Could we see a $26,000 Trap Offer just like in the UK? It's possible, so we'll see how well The Banker does in defending his pockets.

So that's what we know so far. What do you guys think? Personally, I think this version is going to be sooooooooo much better than the prime time version. I always believed that not every game show needs to have a $1,000,000 top prize. The $500,000 prize is very nice, and the board seems to be balanced as well.

Hmm... quite interesting how they've tried to keep it like their original board.

I am new to the syndicated version's format. I guess it will be as good as the original. I am still keeping my hopes up.

$2,500, $7,500 and $250,000 are the new values, while $75, $750, $200,000, $300,000, $400,000, $750,000 and $1,000,000 are gone.

That said, this version looks a bit like the UK board with the exception of the $25, $200, $300, $400, $2,500, $7,500 and $500,000 and missing the $0.10, $0.50, $250, $750, $3,000, $15,000, $20,000 and $35,000.

I actually would have kept $750, add the $0.25 and $250 while dumping the $200, $300, $400, make it very similar to the UK board.

The right side looks just about right without the "off scale" amounts such as $3,000 and $35,000.

I do like it. Very neat, definitely much less top-heavy than the primetime board. The lack of family support will definitely change the dynamic, in which direction I'm not sure. I always felt the family support in the primetime version tended to be divisive, and I reckon we'll get more 'gut instinct' decisions without them, whichever direction that happens to be. I like that as a contrast to primetime.

Comparing the 'red' side to the UK £500,000 games, the top five are the same, but 35k is now 25k, and a couple of others are lower too. The balance will be fairly similar to those games.
