Well, it certainly has been a while. hasn't it? Recaps of the US version have been few in number because:
1. No one bothered to do them.
2. I was busy with school.
But school is over now, so it's back to business over here. Anyway, over the past few weeks, there have been some nice wins, and no trainwrecks (thank the Lord!). In fact, DoND USA has produced some nice games lately, where people won $50,000 or more almost every time. On our last show, 4 frat boys played the game together and won $128,000 for their fraternity (it was Spring Break Week). Not too shabby. It was a good deal, too.

Let's change gears for a moment. Some people have noticed that the UK version has had some either boring or unlucky games as of late, with a few nice ones in between. But no version of DoND is without its unlucky contants or horribly low wins, I suppose. To all of those who have struck out on the DoND stage, I'm sorry things didn't go your way. If it were up to me, I'd have personally cut you a check for £1,000, because I believe that no one should go home with almost no money. If I ran Endemol, the lowest blue amount would be £100, because £100 is still money that you can actually do something with. But I digress.

Anyway, before I get to this recap, I'd like to tell you about a new format I'm implementing. From here on in, terms like OBW, OPW, etc. will no longer be used in my recaps. This is because I want to make my recaps unique and different from the others. Plus, I want to make it stat-free, becuase I'm terrible at math :P . Thus, I'm implementing some new, simplified terminology:
GD - Good Deal. The contestant sells their case for more than what it's worth (proveout offers not factored in).
BD - Bad Deal. The contestant sells their case for less than what it's worth (proveout offers not factored in).
TW - Trainwreck. Self-explanatory.
Now that I've gotten that out of the way, let's get to the recap.

Contestant: Joe Kobes
Chosen Case: 12
Note: All of tonight's players will take a lucky spin of the Deal Wheel to see if they can double or triple their winnings. However, there's also a chance that they could lose half of their winnings as well.

Round 1 - 6 to open
Briefcases 13 ($400), 25 ($1,000,000), 24 ($50,000), 1 ($200), 8 ($500), and 15 ($75,000) eliminated. Banker offers $40,000; NO DEAL.

Round 2 - 5 to open
Briefcases 16 ($300,000), 10 ($10,000), 26 ($5), 9 ($300), and 5 ($200,000) eliminated. Banker offers $66,000; NO DEAL.

Round 3 - 4 to open
Briefcases 4 ($750), 17 ($500,000), 14 ($400,000), and 21 ($50) eliminated. Banker offers $39,000; NO DEAL.

Round 4 - 3 to open
Briefcases 22 (.01), 6 ($25,000), and 11 ($1) eliminated. Banker offers $71,000; NO DEAL.

Round 5 - 2 to open
Briefcases 19 ($1,000) and 2 ($10) eliminated. Banker offers $110,000; NO DEAL.

Round 6 - 1 to open
Briefcase 7 ($5,000) eliminated. Banker offers $144,000; NO DEAL.
(This is where I would have dealt.)

Round 7 - 1 to open
Briefcase 18 ($750,000) eliminated. Banker offers $26,000; DEAL.

Proveouts
Round 8 - 1 to open
Briefcase 20 ($25) eliminated. Banker offers $33,000.

Round 9 - 1 to open
Briefcase 23 ($100,000) eliminated.

Contestant’s briefcase opened; briefcase contains $100.
Unopened Briefcase: 3 ($75).

Result: A GD that could have been a lot better.

And now, it's time to take a lucky spin of the Deal Wheel. Let's see what happens...
(Deal Wheel lands on x3)
Thus, Joe is going home with $78,000. If I'd have spun the wheel with my $144,000 deal, I'd have won $432,000 if I'd have gotten the same result :P .

The Deal Wheel was generous to Joe, so let's see how the next contestant fares against it.

Contestant: Letitia Soney
Chosen Case: 22 (:? GLAC chosen. Uh-oh...)

Round 1 - 6 to open
Briefcases 3 ($10,000), 11 ($500,000), 26 ($100), 5 ($25), 1 ($300,000), and 10 ($50,000) eliminated. Banker offers $55,000; NO DEAL.

Round 2 - 5 to open
Briefcases 17 ($50), 7 ($1,000,000), 9 ($750,000), 14 ($.01), and 2 ($750) eliminated. Banker offers $36,000; NO DEAL.

Round 3 - 4 to open
Briefcases 13 ($1), 6 ($400,000), 4 ($200), and 24 ($75) eliminated. Banker offers $29,000; NO DEAL.

Round 4 - 3 to open
Briefcases 12 ($200,000), 23 ($400), and 16 ($5) eliminated. Banker offers $15,000 and a $5,100 Billy Blanks fan package (total value: $20,100); DEAL.

Proveouts
Round 5 - 2 to open
Briefcases 19 ($100,000) and 21 ($300) eliminated. Banker offers $18,000.

Contestant’s briefcase opened; briefcase contains $1,000.
Unopened Briefcases: 8 ($25,000), 15 ($5,000), 20 ($500), 18 ($10), 25 ($75,000).

Result: Despite the bad luck, Letitia managed to secure a GD, and a nice Billy Blanks fan package in the process. Speaking of, who the hell is Billy Blanks, anyway?

And now, it's time to take that $20,100 in cash and prizes to the Deal Wheel. Let's see if the Deal Wheel will be kind to this Billy Blanks fan...
(Deal Wheel lands on x2)
It was! That means that Letitia leaves the Dealodrome with $40,200 in cash and prizes.

Next Time: A Star Wars-themed Winner Take All episode with Darth Vader as the Banker, and the models in Star Wars bikinis or something of the like.

And there you have it. Comment away.
