MARIJKE from somewhere called Almere. She's chosen CASE 9 to play.

We see, as usual, last week's winner and someone from the Postcodelotterij (who sponsor the show) giving away envelopes of money to the other people in his postcode with lottery tickets, who share a second jackpot of exactly what the player won, €175,000 in this case. Hilariously one of the envelopes ends up in the mouth of a dog. Another is given to an old man who drops his walking stick.

Marijke has been married for 28 years, to a guy called Winston who appears to be of African origin. She says something she wants but I couldn't understand what.

What I can understand is the game... and away we go.

ROUND 1
4 - €1 (he flipped it round in his hand very nicely! That's why it got cheered I guess)
23 - €0.20! (he guessed €0.01! That case got cheered too!)
2 - €50 (this crowd are alive!)
22 - €1,000
10 - €5,000
5 - €100!

ALL-LEFT OPENING ROUND!!! A 1 in 51 chance of that... interestingly more likely than an all-blue opener in the UK.
This could be interesting... I think the record opening offer was mentioned...

OFFER €50,000! Unless I'm very, very much mistaken that's a record. Of course, with 100 times that in play, NO DEAL!

ROUND 2
12 - €500,000... had to happen
20 - €10!
14 - €5!
15 - €0.50!!
'Now, not the €5m.'
19 - €0.01!!

All that's left on the left side is €20, €500 and €2,500!

OFFER €108,000! I'm pretty sure that's a record too. NO DEAL! The crowd are going nuts as well they might.

'So far so good' says the multi-lingual Linda in English.

ROUND 3
8 - €50,000!
21 - €300,000. EVEN THAT IS CHEERED!
1 - €75,000! Cheered again!
ADBREAK!
16 - €2,500,000! Oh dear... but CORRECT GUESS FOR €12,000 for a beaten finalist in the quiz bit who won nothing.

It was overdue. Still €400k, €750k, €1m as backups for the big one...

OFFER €204,000! Murmurs from the audience. I think they want her to go on. I might be gone. She's not - NO DEAL!

Linda is desperate to keep the €5m. Aren't we all?

ROUND 4
26 - €5,000,000!!
11 - €200,000! Suddenly no longer disposable.
3 - €20! - she guessed €0.20 which is gone, then changed it to €20, and CORRECT GUESS FOR €9,000!

Board's a bit different now...

OFFER €135,000. Big groans! The crowd want her to go on. Was that a cry of 'one more?' Well there's two to open. Winston says No Deal to cheers... Marijke says NO DEAL to cheers!

ROUND 5
6 - €500! CORRECT GUESS FOR €8,000!
24 - €25,000!

Final six:
Code:
           €10,000
          €100,000
          €400,000
          €750,000
€2,500  €1,000,000

OFFER €219,000! A fairly quick NO DEAL!

ROUND 6
7 - €100,000! Belated cheers...

60% chance of at least €400k!

OFFER €242,000! Winston sticks his thumbs up... NO DEAL!

ROUND 7
17 - €10,000!

75% CHANCE OF FOUR HUNDRED THOUSAND EURO!

OFFER €349,000! It's disapproved of! Quite rightly so I think, looking at it. You can count the number of people who make it to the final two on one hand, this could be one right here with this configuration!

She's talking about what she'd do with the money, I think. A house for one of her daughters is mentioned.

However, NO DEAL!!

ROUND 8
25 - €400,000 AND IT'S CHEERED!

Two in three shot at at least THREE QUARTERS OF A MILLION...

OFFER €500,000!

There is no precedent for an all-or-peanuts final two in this version. That makes the decision a lot harder. The final offer will be an instant Deal if the €2,500 stays or an instant No Deal if it goes, surely. We talk to the person holding Case 13. Audience want a No Deal.

Linda talks it over, asks the question formally which she rarely does... DEAL!

This is probably one of the best games I've seen live ever in any version.

ROUND 9
13 - €750,000! CORRECT GUESS FOR €3,000!

Well, that would have been an instant Deal no matter what. So who cares what's in here?

18 - €2,500!
9 had €1,000,000! An OBW that's treated like an OPW. Because it may as well be one.

Case value: €1,000,000
Peak offer: €500,000
Prize won: €500,000
Result: OBW, but LBD (Least-Bad Deal)
