Player is MICHAEL. He is, to put it mildly, skinny. He picks CASE 12 for his 12-year-old child - well, twelve and a half really, but 12 it is.

Ooh, he works as a treasurer. Linda seems to mention this as being interesting, from what I can tell. I think he's going to make some pretty smart decisions.

ROUND 1:
21 - €5
26 - €25,000 [correct guess for, um, €25,000! GREAT reaction from that guy]
17 - €50
1 - €2,500
13 - €200,000
8 - €0.01!

Good start. Very good start indeed. Just one of the top ELEVEN went, and the top SEVEN are intact! He guesses a €150,000 opening offer, does he watch our version?

OFFER €27,000 | NO DEAL

ROUND 2:
9 | €300,000 [nearly forgot to make a guess!]
Indecisiveness in case selection?
11 | €1!
19 | €100
16 | €500!
15 | €5,000,000!!... CORRECT GUESS FOR €16,000!

- that was the strangest crowd reaction I've ever heard.

The top five safety nets remain.

OFFER €52,000 | NO DEAL

Yes, the offer nearly doubled after the biggie went.

ROUND 3:
20 | €500,000!
3 | €1,000,000!!
25 | €10,000
23 | €400,000!

What an ugly round! 'Oo-ee-oo-ee-oo-ee' goes Linda at high speed. My singing teacher has me do that...

OFFER €69,500

Let's just say the offers are set to go up and up early in the game...

He seems to be really considering it! Wife says to go on... so does he! NO DEAL!

ROUND 4:
missed number | €20
missed number | €100,000
webstream problems on that bit. Adbreak.
missed number again | €750,000!!

This has to be a Deal... €2.5m is backed up only by €50k and €75k!

OFFER €98,000

Except that's an eminently rejectable offer... and sure enough, NO DEAL! Linda seems to try and talk him out of it - you won't get THAT from Noel - but NO DEAL still!

This is the first time I've ever seen that happen on a dangerous board. Here is that board...
Code:
€0.20
€0.50
€10        €50,000
€1,000     €75,000
€5,000  €2,500,000

ROUND 5:
4 | €0.50!
10 | €5,000!

Safe! Final six:
Code:
€0.20      €50,000
€10        €75,000
€1,000  €2,500,000

This is going to be a lot bigger with only one to open...

OFFER €175,000!

I would be very tempted to go on again with only one to open. Either decision is justifiable with this offer I'd say... one case is disaster, the other five will send the offer go up even bigger. Michael points out it's an 83.333333...% chance of being safe, Linda repeating the 3s. Great comedy moment amidst serious consideration...

...long explanation about the other cases left... comedy that's lost in translation to me...

Linda points out it's 'risky business'...

...DEAL! I think I'd have done what he did but I'm really unsure on each of the last two offers - very very good offers tonight!

ROUND 6 (proveout):
24 | €10!

Shrieks from the audience! No proveout offer but I'd reckon on about €300,000, and I'd definitely take that.

ROUND 7 (proveout):
14 | €75,000!

This might be close to half a million...

ROUND 8 (proveout):
22 | €1,000!

Noel would be going nuts at this point. €700,000 a possible offer here.

ROUND 9 (proveout):
2 | €2,500,000! Correct guess for €3,000, and relief for Michael!

€0.20 v €50,000 final two, and Michael has not made the worst Deal in global history (which I think it would have been if he had €2.5m).

Michael's Case 12 had €0.20! The other had €50,000. €175,000 is his, not bad for a worthless case despite the fact he could have had... unimaginable money.

Case value: €0.20
Peak offer: €175,000 in active play, proveout likely €700,000?
Prize won: €175,000
Result: TBW, unknown magnitude
