Welcome back to Miljoenenjacht, the show which started it all!

This week, 500 different candidates from 10 different towns are going to battle it out for 5 million euro.
It actually is the 2nd of 5 episodes this week - although I refused to recap the first episode because
the candidate managed to win € 18.000 but still managed to even beat Luis Greed's amount of money lost. He refused 358k on 8-case, 203k on 6-case, 97k on 5-case and dealt 18k on 4-case. Image
Linda's face says it all.

The quiz part was quite interesting. The candidate which answered the second question fastest also answered the 4th one fastest!

After the quizdesk round (note: the estimation game has been removed), two candidates remained: Ingrid, the one answered two questions the fastest, and Pascal. Note that Pascal was also the name of a candidate from last season who won € 1.026.000. This is not the same Pascal.

Nobody presses the button, the buzzer has stopped at 26k! Maths question:
123 - 97 = 26
Both pressed, but Ingrid was a bit faster and was correct!

Now it is time for the mini case, which replaced the bell. It functions similarly - although the mini case is opened by the holder when the main player selects the case the mini case holder has selected. Also, if the mini case contains the 5 million, the minicase holder wins 100k instead of 50k. Otherwise, the same rules apply (100k or above is truncated to 50k).
The minicaseholder is:
- a man
- from a block with an even number
- block 10
- named Eus Balm
Now, it is time to see how Ingrid plays.
She is from Rosmalen, and has been married to a man called Peter for 28 years.
She selects case 21 because her son was born on the 21st of February. Eus (mini case holder) selects case 6.

Reminder: Money board is the same as 2006 - 2012 although the 75k has been replaced with 2 million.
Lets start!

4 - € 100
13 - € 500
17 - € 2.000.000 Ow.
1 - € 5
14 - € 5.000
23 - € 20
Great round, aside from the odd million value.

BANKER'S OFFER

€ 43.000

Obvious first round no deal.

24- € 2.500.000 Agh.
9- € 2.500
26 - € 50
6 - Hey, that's Eus' case!
€ 1.000.000
50 thousand for Eus, and another blow for Ingrid.
19- € 0,01 Alright.

BANKER'S OFFER

€ 63.000

Dissapointed sounds from the audience. NO DEAL.

20 - € 25.000 Phew.
5- € 0,50
20 - € 300.000 The first six-figure amount gone.
25 - Commercial break!

25- € 5.000.000 Here's the part where Linda could say "*beep*".

BANKER'S OFFER

€ 46.000

Linda mentions that the offer is low on purpose because they want Ingrid to continue - and she does.
No Deal.

8 - € 400.000 Linda said that it was a medium amount?! No, it isn't!
15 - € 1.000
10 (aka the best case)- € 10

BANKER'S OFFER

€ 78.000

Hubby says no deal, and she follows.

3 - € 0,20
22 - € 50.000

BANKER'S OFFER

€ 146.000

Still influenced by her husband, she says no deal. Last week's candidate also was too influenced by his wife, lets hope lightning doesn't stike twice.

12- € 200.000 Alright!

BANKER'S OFFER

€ 188.000

Great amount, and its a DEAL! 188k is safe, but could it be 750k in case 21? She thinks so.

11 - € 500.000
I'd think the offer would be dropped to the previous offer.
16 - boldblue]€ 1[/boldblue]
Likely around 200k, but there is no proveout offer.
7 - € 100.000
This would've been around 375k.

Ingrid is adamant that the case contains 750k...
2 - € 10.000
Linda opens case 21 and reveals € 750.000. A OBW, but it is taken in good spirit by the candidate and Linda, with copious amounts of laughs.

See you all next week sunday, until another Miljoenenjacht.
