When it was announced that Deal Or No Deal had been axed, Karen thought her chance to play was over, until the production company contacted her with a second chance.

"They wanted to go out with a bang," Karen said.

"The show has been going for 11 years and this was their way of going out in style. They said they'd like to make ten shows and they would come around to my house so I could say why they should come to my region.

Sounds like the remaining wing members had to basically audition again to be picked for one of the tour shows

This seems like a reasonably fair way of doing it, considering there was a real chance that none of the remaining 21 'wingers' on the final show wouldn't get to play at all.

Been over a month since the show finished for good, and it still feels strange not having DoND on anymore! :shock: :(
