Looking at the schedules, it seems that the show will be taking a break from the 18th-21st to allow for coverage of Royal Ascot.

Will post further updates as they break. :smt023

They replaced this with boring horse racing?! :smt011

Won't there just be adverts like every 5 seconds anyway?

I presume you're talking about DOND ;-) :P

Tbh, I enjoy horse racing, and would actually rather watch it than DOND. Plus it's only for 1 week.

I'm sure they'll be other programs on/stuff to do for fans of the show who don't enjoy racing.

It's you're, mate.

There are indeed plenty of programmes about which are streets head of DOND. You won't find them on the TV though, so YouTube becomes your trusty friend.

It says a lot that, although DOND has become staler than a dusty doormat, I'd still consider it one of the best pieces of programming that C4 broadcast. This looks fairly impressive, but when you chew over the fact that C4 offers useless trash like The Big Bang Theory, Hollyoaks and inane reality shows, then it makes sense in context.

This.

Don't know why people are complaining. Any opportunity for it to take a break should be grabbed with both hands.

Oh well, at least there's still Tipping Point. :)

I usually watch it on Channel 4+1 so I will have to settle for either The Chase or Pointless. Presumably this is The summer break and like last year DOND will carry on seamlessly through July and August again?

They do, although I think a summer break isn't a bad thing...
