'hi'.i am garry aka 'hevelius'-was wondering if anyone had had similar experience as mine.in august 06 i had my audition in manchester.was told that would only be contacted if successful and invited onto the show.this was before the days of bronze/silver/gold tickets.on october 31 that yr i received a voice mail message asking me to contact endemol and phone number was left.my phone had been switched off as i was at work-and when i accessed the msg and rang the number given-the endemol offices were closed.i spent that evening of oct 31-halloween-convinced that this must be this-the invitation onto the show.the next morning i got through to the guy-josh feather-turns out he was inviting me for an audition.a previous application form had been found-and he didn't realise i had already auditioned.he apologised profusely-and said that there was still a chance i could get on the show at some stage.a while later-i visited a medium-who said that there would be synchronicity and great coincidence-connected to 0ct 31-halloween.the following year-0ct 31-07-i received an e-mail asking me to fill in an application form.o my word!!.i rang endemol-and spoke to a producer who is still working on the show.she was amazed by my story-i believe-and asked me to re-apply,saying there could still be a chance-not to give up.however-since then-nothing.however i can't shake off the feeling that it is really meant to be.cheers everyone and good luck to all those who have got on the show.garry.

cheers for reply.am hoping that someone from endemol will read this as it is a genuine story.the medium herself told me that she was born on halloween and another major coincidence is that the first show was aired on oct 31.when i spoke to josh feather he said there was no need to audition again and they would contact me when/if needed-so u can imagine my excitement when i received an e-mail at halloween time the following yr-'07!!. it felt like 'trick or treat' when i was asked to fill in another application form and not to give up hope-it could still happen.twice contacted at halloween/twice not got on the show...synchronicity/coincidence foretold by a medium born on oct 31....oh to have a 'treat'...as disappointment twice aint much fun.this is a genuine story otherwise i woudn't be making such a big thing of it.i am still a huge fan of the show and happy to be on the forum.cheers and thanks to everyone for reading my 'thread'.garry.

Strange forces are at work. I posted a mystical reply to you a couple of days ago but it has gone without trace. Something is trying to stop you going on the show. Very, very spooky. Maybe the pilgrims can delve into the supernatural and uncover what it is.

Hi Hevelius,I had an audition in 2007 and then received a phone call a year later to talk about my application.When he found out I already had an audition he told me to hang in there as they already had me on file. Heard nothing since. Think they must have wanted me at some point. I've given up now...

Let us know which words you're having trouble with and we'll give you some tuition. It can't be easy finding your way around a big forum like this.
