3 of the last 5 Sunday shows have seen the £250,000 come to the table, namely December 3rd, December 17th, and the most recent Sunday, December 31st (in boxes 9, 22, and 18 respectively). If this remarkable sequence continues then we would expect the 250K to come to the table the Sunday after next, January 14th! Will the 250K come to the table again on a Sunday show this month? When Deal Or No Deal was moved permanently to Sunday on October 8th 2006 it started with a big number at the table, £100,000 (unfortunately swapped away). Despite the fact that permanent Sunday shows have only been a relatively recent fixture, two of the Top 8 alltime DOND winners have come from Sunday shows, namely David at No. 8 dealing at £70,000 (when the 250K came to the final two), and Claudine at No. 2 with her deal of £107,031. Will Sunday shows continue to be special?

Kelly brought the £100k to the table as well! And Mary had £50k! And Tony also had £250k at the final two but not in his box!

Of course, with all these big numbers being brought to the table on Sundays, some people might start saying it's a fix... I personally don't believe it's a fix and believe it's just pure coincidence! :D This is the whole point of random stuff in mathematics - it can throw up some interesting coincidences.

With Laura's win, the £250,000 has now appeared at the table 4 out of the last 6 Sunday shows! It also represents the 13th time that it has come to the table in the history of Deal Or No Deal, but all the previous 12 contestants dealt at a lower amount of course. If the 250K was to come to the table next Sunday, 14th January, it would be 5 out of 7 consecutive shows which would represent remarkably low odds!

It was the first ever Sunday show (excluding those in Double Deal Week), so it was recorded as a Saturday show but aired on a Sunday. Kelly brought the £100k out on a Sunday too (but would have swapped it away if she'd got the chance)...

Four out of six Sundays having the quarter-million is roughly a one-in-1000 shot... you have to wonder if they've tried to engineer the big win for Sunday when more 'floating viewers' could be attracted by the inevitable spoiler...

Once again, a Sunday brings out a good show - this time an OPW with a hefty win! ;)

Yes, but just as well that the 250K wasn't in the contestant's box, if that had happened you would have had people complaining that it had been fixed! ;)

£250,000 has now been in the contestant's box 5 times within the last 9 consecutive Sunday shows! Even though only Laura has won it, having it in the box has provided the influence to ensure high banker offers yielded healthy winnings for the contestants.
Let's look at these 5 shows and what happened:

December 3rd 2006 Ingerlise £15,000 Dealt at 4th Offer
December 17th 2006 Claudine £107,031 Dealt at 6th Offer
December 31st 2006 Alfie £20,000 Dealt at 5th Offer
January 7th 2007 Laura £250,000 Won Box Amount
January 28th Daniel £24,500 Dealt at 5th Offer

Another Outright Player Win on a Sunday Show. Out of the 10 Sunday shows of 2007 so far, 6 have been OPWs.
