After viewing today's game it made me think about how often this has happened. It's happened an awful lot in proveout play but I can only think of the LIVE play ones that occured in 2006/7:

Trevor: 01/03/06
Shirley: 22/06/06
Daniel: 28/08/07
Mario: 17/11/07

-

Emma: 10/05/12

Can anyone fill in the gaps for 2008-2012?

If I can think of more, I will add them.

I am sure there are people on here who can tell you exactly how many times it has happened - I'm not one of them sadly.

Stuart on 08/09/08 did it (he won £10 and I was REALLY annoyed about it as his offers were terrible).

I'm sure if you ask Statsman, he'll be able to tell you exactly how many times it has been done.

Mariyam now joins this most feared of clubs...

Only one game where this event has happened has not been disastrous, that being Daniel, with his once every several years board and powerful final two of £50,000 and £100,000 making the 20th box wipeout only a shame, not cruel.

Laurens' sort of counts but only because she got the £100,000... winning the £750 would have put it into the Trevor league.

Funny how the first two (Garvan and Trevor) were a result of being pushed on by forcing offers at 5-box. They were definitely considered to be forcing offers at the time, though post-2010 DoND world would consider these to be "cast-iron deals" (We also mustn't forget that May-December run in 2008 where most players were barely getting 5-figure offers on "£250k and not much else" boards.....some even dealt) :smt011

Amazed at that gap of nearly 3 years between Mariyam and Pav. Part of it is the increase of caution from September 2012 to the end of 2013, but still there were about 10 people who were in live play at 3 box with the 250k during that 3 year period.

The ones I remember during that gap were:

Nong (5/8/2012)
Roy (29/4/2013)
Marlene (21/7/2013)
Paddy (12/8/2013)
Nenad (2/12/2013)
Roop (12/2/2014)
Pat (10/3/2014)
Earl (18/4/2014)
Mark (15/6/2014)

Am I missing someone?

Mark doesn't count as he dealt at 3 box, so yeah, "just" those 8. Can't believe there was a year long gap between players who were in live play at 3 box with the 250k in play, though we mostly have the increase of extra offers in the final round with the 250k in play after Pat's game to thank for that.
