Brian must have been the first player in a long time to sell the 1p box for a 5-figure sum; can't even remember the last player who managed that

I just checked my stats and the last time 1p was sold for 5 figures depends on how much of a purist you are:

Helen dealt £5,000 back in September and sold the 1p, then she bought Box 23 and doubled her winnings to £10,000.

Buk dealt £11,000 back in June and hypo-swapped the 1p to the table.

If neither of those count for your viewpoint (they both count in mine, fyi), Anna dealt £15,000 back on May 1st, 2014 and sold the 1p without any hypo-swaps or Box 23 purchase.
