It must be said, it was a very disappointing Transfer Deadline Day; the biggest move of the day was Krancjar moving to Spurs from Portsmouth!

Local-wise, looks we've helped you out again Sols; Arron Davies joining you guys til the New Year! He'll know Slade very well from Yeovil; he's a great player, just never broken into the first team on a regular basis!

He better be good. But then again you said Thornhill was a star in the making when he joined us and he hasn't been able to break into the side.

Bear in mind Thornhill lacks match practice...he was used as a fringe player here, he's got the quality, he just needs his first-team chances.

Arron Davies was one of the two Yeovil players we snapped up after losing to a side with them both in, in the League One play-offs; the other one being one of our now-best players, Chris Cohen...

A nervous end to what should have been a routine win for England...wasn't the best performance...Defoe scored again though so fair play to him!

Looks like Manchester City are about to become the next victim of a transfer ban...they've been reported by Rennes for "poaching" one of their youngsters.

Even with it being Man City of all clubs, this would just make things look even more concrete that English clubs are hated...

Just got back from the Wednesday v Forest match...it was to say the very least, a VERY dishonest match.

My friend won't talk to me now because I am "a dirty cheating scab"...

What are UEFA doing... on the whole people seemed happy with their decision on Eduardo but now they have overturned it... seemingly they dont want to be seen doing the right thing or having to judge on all those extra diving decisions coming in. Completely ridiculous.

Only just...

If ever there was a case for the existence of karma it is happening at Standard Liege...

Arsenal 2-0 down already with Eduardo being influential in the first goal.

Mannone will have better games...what a debut for him in Europe!

Eduardo certainly had a mixed game last night!

Steel City derby tomorrow night...I'll be staying away from Bramhall Lane for sure to avoid the riots!

Tonight in the Europa League there will be 5 officials per game... this can only go badly.

I still can't believe Celtic went from 1-0 up to lose 2-1!

Can't really add anything to that... What a game...

Even with the final result I wouldn't want to be Ferdinand in the dressing room about now, bet he is hiding from Fergie :smt011

If Ferdinand uses the Fergie watch he could have a few minutes headstart on the way out of Old Trafford...

Yep! Must be said though, yes United won, they got two phantom minutes of stoppage time coz of the subs and Bellamy's goal...VERY entertaining match!

Many people are bothered about the Leeds v Liverpool match...

...but it's all about the Peterborough v Newcastle match; Peterborough are 45 minutes away from a massive shock!!! They lead 2-0!

Blackpool lead Stoke by the same scoreline...could they claim another Premier League scalp?!

Barnsley, with their new manager being VERY well-known in recent times for giant killings, currently beating Premier League side Burnley...not necessarily a giant killing, but still a shock!

I say, when a League Two club loses because one player in particular had a bad game, is it protocol to start being nasty to him and blaming him?

That's what apparently happened to Sol Campbell at the weekend...and he's only gone and left Notts County because of it!
