Yeah, it was surreal actually listening to the TMS commentary whilst inside in the ground, partly because they'd refer to the right when you'd be watching it on the left, and when I listened before play started, it was interesting seeing the commentators on the pitch near to where we were sitting with their headphones on and scrambling for notes on the clipboards!

Tuffers was as oddball as usual but hilarious - he will be a welcome addition to the Strictly line up, although I fear that Cricketers' 100% record in the competition (winning with Darren Gough and Mark Ramprakash) may be about to end, but who knows!

I dont know how I'd have coped without the little earpiece with the TMS/Sky Sports commentary... I spent half my time trying to look into the commentary boxes to see who was where.

Oh and Aggers seemed to be getting a fair bit of stick in some newspapers for his interview with Lily Allen which is frankly ridiculous.

Yeah, me too (were you at the ground too, then? :ponder: ). I think TMS were in the extreme right box at the Vauxhall end about 4 floors up, as you look from the Pavilion end. Sky Sports most likely next door judging from the view given from the studio. Anyway, they all did an excellent job of keeping us informed!

One thing that struck me afterwards though was that, according to my dad, the commentary radios on sale at the ground are only usable for that day or something, then they apparently cut out, which sounds like a bit of a con if that's true. Fortunately, I got a hat beforehand usable for eternity, so no need to worry!

Bopara has gone for a duck in the ODI against Ireland. I could get more runs...

I'm not a fan of ODI's but that one was very tense at the end.... Australia win the first ODI by 4 runs. 6 to go.

That was a VERY tense ending...Sidebottom almost became even more of a ODI legend than he already was!

England get out of jail again! :D

I only came back in time to see the last ball of the game that Graham Onions managed to survive

Perhaps just like The Ashes we have the momentum and will win the series now!

It was good to see Kevin Pietersen do well. He and Trott provide some much needed class but Bell's place is in jeopardy again.

England all of a sudden are a world beating team again... Bell and Cook finally pitching in to the team effort and Swanny and Broad being the only bowlers we need.. we could have 8 batsmen if needed! Looking forward to the next test on Sunday now!

Bell and Cook were under pressure and delivered. We didn't miss Freddie in that one either. Swann and Broad can make useful runs down the order too, and Collingwood can bowl tightly to contain batsmen (even if not threatening to take wickets) to give the four bowlers a break if needed. That test match shows that we can beat anyone in the world now.

The Stuart Broad one was a little odd but cant have been with real intent... unlike the SA media think. They are all up in arms about Anderson as well now...

SA to bat until Tea and England to be all out by lunch tomorrow?

All out by lunch tomorrow. Which would probably be for the best, rather than giving us any sort of false hope.

WE DID IT AGAIN!!!

Colly and Bell were fantastic! The final few overs were easily the most dramatic moments in England cricket...yet again Onions stood strong at the end!

Brilliant draw!

After a good friendly match for England can they turn their poor performance in the one day series against Australia
around and win the World Cup? India have started with a convincing win and must be favourites.
