Oh, I thought you meant this season! Anyway, Shrewsbury won't be in danger of winning at Wembley anytime soon.

Everyone who isn't a Chelsea fan wants Everton to win today - so by default Everton will have the far larger fanbase today. There's a lot of people putting bets on Everton to win it (and the odds aren't particularly nice to the Toffees either; 2/5 for their London rivals to win it :? ) and the most popular bet we've had is for Cahill to score the winning goal...

I personally think it'll be one of those games where Chelsea will do everything right, bar score...and either Cahill or Fellaini to capitalise!

It'd be a fitting end to the season for Moyes too; he doesn't spend much money nowadays, he deserves at least one piece of silverware for his work, never mind the playing staff!

On the other hand, many people will be expecting Chelsea to take the game to send Hiddink off on a high :? I'm still backing Everton!

Despite being an Evertonian - I can only see Chelsea winning

We got outplayed in the end and Chelsea deserved to win, but honestly, I'm just happy we got the final in the first place, given how hard our run in the cup was. No one here could have predicted we'd be in the final at the beginning of the season.

One or two more quality signings like Fellaini last summer, and Everton will be pushing for the top 4 once again...they're ever such a successful club given their financial strings, well done to them for making the Final at least.

Gareth Barry is an idiot.

Last year he said he wanted to leave Aston Villa to join Liverpool so he could play Champions League football.

So bearing in mind Villa only managed to qualify for the Europa League, what has he only gone and done? Join bloody Abu Dhabi of Manchester...who aren't even playing European football next season!!! :? :? :?

Oh and there's a breaking report from Spain that Kaka has agreed in principle to join Real Madrid in a world record £65million deal...A.C. Milan have denied such deal though...

£56million I think.

Which is pure rubbish really. Man City were ready to pay £100m and Chelsea have a higher offer in the mix as well....

And Brighton are 9/1 with Ladbrokes to win League 1 next season. That makes them 5th favourites which considering the season we've just had is amazing. This new multi millionaire poker playing chairman must be ready to splash the cash........

Well Brighton have released 14 players for next season, that must leave us with about 3 under contract.

The released players are, Fraser, Sullivan, Robinson, Mayo, Hinshelwood, Loft, Birchall, Carole, Jarrett, Gargan, Louis, Pearson, Royce and Wills.

I have to say that I think Hinshelwood deserved a contract after being injured for about 4 years and just recently coming back to full fitness. I hope Slade knows what he's doing.

Anyway, we're hoping to get permanent signings of Dicker and Owusu which would be handy.

Oooh Simpson better know about this... definite players to keep away from if we want to stay up/go up next season.

Shrewsbury want to sign striker Jake Robinson, who has been released by Brighton. (Daily Star)

They have a habit of signing ex-League One players

Chris Gunter is to be loaned out, but with Newcastle now also interested, I'm worried he might choose them over Forest...that said he did say he enjoyed playing regular football infront of crowds of at least 26,000...but Newcastle will surely have more? :(

Yes I'd say he is... I'd pay that to get him out of our football league so he could go and fall over somewhere else...

Madrid reckon they'll make £80million in shirt sales alone.
