Bit cruel to be beaten by a 91st minute winner. Although the match was completely one sided.

Right well that was an interesting day out...

Firstly I agree that we were completely out played in the first hand but we should have won in the second half...

The train journey down was fun, 500 people on two trains, we got on the second one and our carriage was basically empty but on the way back we got the second train and it was completely packed... Somehow alot more people got on the train...

Wembley was a pretty damn impressive stadium but a bit smaller than I was expecting but still very nice although it was a bit too much for a League Two match, a Prem ground would have had a better atmosphere I think.

We were outplayed and they deserved to win really but to lose on a 91st minute cheated cornerwhichshouldhavebeenagoalkickanyfoolcouldseethatjesus but they are a League One club and we are a League Two club. Ho Hum... Still hurts mind.

Oh and if we end up in the playoffs next year it's SkySports for me.

Shrewsbury installed as 10/1 joint favourites with Bradford to win League 2 next season. Does look a very open league though and much could depend on whether Shrewsbury can keep hold of Grant Holt.

West Brom, Middlesbrough and Newcastle all go down! Hull escape! (Newcastle also have a man sent off with seconds left...)

Quite a come down for Newcastle - they'll be visiting Scun/thorpe and Peterborough next season, rather than Arsenal and Manchester United

Aberdeen FC have parted company with their manager Jimmy Calderwood on the same day as a 2-1 win over Hibernian gave them a 4th place finish in the league and a place in next seasons Europa Cup ??? which I think is the new name for the UEFA cup.

Seems a bit strange after a reasonable and respectable finish in the league. Rangers and Celtic dominate the league here and the rest are really left to aim for 3rd place, but rumour is it was due to bad results in the cup competitions over the past couple of seasons (being defeated by lower league sides) :? :?

There's been another managerial casualty...this one at Easter Road; Hibs boss Mixu Paatelainen has resigned!

I'm rather pessimistic about tomorrow tbh, I think Chelsea will walk away with it though I am praying I am wrong. I'll be too nervous to watch on TV, so I'll be following it on the BBC site! If we lose, at least we can say we got to Wembley before Liverpool, if we win, we can claim that and also say that we have won more trophies than Liverpool in the last 3 seasons (which would be true).

I'm hoping that Everton win... I think all neutrals are. If nothing else at least Shrewsbury got to Wembley before Everton... :P
