An introduction for those who aren't aware of the rules:

Before each offer, one amount on the board will shift in value. This shift will be determined by a random draw and will be influenced by the state of the board as each remaining value contributes to a different kind of shift - essentially, the more reds you have, the higher your chance of shifting up.

Values under £1 (and special boxes) contribute to a huge downshift - even your biggest boxes could crash to nothing.

£1-£249.99 contributes to a moderate downshift - typically between 10-75% of the original value.

Any blue £250 or above contributes to a small downshift.

Any red under £10,000 contributes to a small upshift - typically between itself and the next highest value.

Between £10,000 and £74,999.99 gives you a moderate upshift - reds will shift up to two or 3 values, blues could turn orange.

Anything above that contributes to a huge upshift - blues could be shifted as high as £250k, reds could go even higher.

There are six shifts you must take (hence the name!!) - at 22 box (you get an offer before you've even opened a box here), and before the next 5 offers. At 2 box, provided you have at least one red remaining, you will have the opportunity to take the Seventh Shift. This will cause one remaining value to shift drastically up or drastically down, regardless of what remains (on a 2 red finish, for example, one could be shifted to potentially a blue or could even surpass £250k).

There's no Box 23 or offer button here, largely as I think the twist has enough in the first place and also because I've only seen one episode since they were introduced :p

One more thing - the game used to have a few special boxes which sadly never saw the light of day as they were so unlikely to be shifted in. From now the 1p slot is gone and each game one of 25 special boxes will take its place to hopefully make every game even more different! Which special box you get will be selected randomly. The shifts will still take place as normal.

Ready to start when you are :)

Box 1 - £1
Box 3 - £5,000 Only a small upshift so we can deal with that.
Box 5 - £3,000 Second small upshift to go, just 1 left but still got 4 huge raises.
Box 7 - £10,000 First of the moderate upshifts, a blue would finish off the round nicely.
Box 11 - £1,000! All of your small upshifts gone in the first round!

9/17 chance a value is going to fall but not a bad board to go into the shift with in honesty, second shift is coming up...

Box 21 - £35,000. Still five higher.
Box 22 - £40,000. That's one shifted one out, probably best to get a blue now.
Box 20 - £250,000! Yikes. What a horrible round.

With a 7/11 chance of a downshift it's likely to get worse. Let's see if we can get some damage control here. Shift to follow..

Odds are I'll hit at least 2 blues in this round, so NO DEAL.

18, 16, and 14, please, followed by 3 and 4 for the shift.

1 CENT is shifting, hopefully to create a new red...

Not a red, but it's called RED. You downshifted to a special box, and a nasty one at that. When you hit that, it guarantees the next box you take out will be red. If you were to hit a blue, you would instead find your lowest red (this would be done by immediately shifting the lowest red to whatever blue you would have otherwise found, so the banker won't see what's inside any boxes).

Well you'd certainly know when to use it! :laughing

Box 12 - RED! There it goes, let's see if it does anything.
Box 10 - £20,000. Box 10 actually contained £20,000 so the shift did no damage!
Box 8 - £250!

The board is looking a lot better now! As it stands, we have a 40% chance of a moderate downshift, 20% chance of a small downshift, 20% chance of a moderate upshift and a 20% chance a huge upshift.

Here it comes...

£100,000 is coming out! Luckily you got rid of your last huge downshift in the last round, but let's see if you can get it higher.

£45,000! Ouch!! First shift to do some real damage to you.

Next shift, should it be available and you decide to take it on, will be the Seventh Shift.

With only a 10% chance of a significantly higher offer bar a huge upshift and a 30% chance of an unrecoverable blue finish, I shall DEAL. :smt023

2, 4 and 6 would've been my final selections, and I would've gone for the final shift with 1 and 2 on anything other than an all-blue finish.

Box 2 - £100. One third of an all-blue round. We now need to find both reds to remove the Seventh Shift.

Box 4 - £50,000. There's one!
Box 6 - £5.

So we'd have shifted the £500/£45,000 final two. Shift coming next.
