I'd No Deal here, treating the Mystery X as a £35,000 box.

Kall, you may want to edit that to include either 1 or 2 boxes, as you still have the OFFER BUTTON in play.

Ben, I hope Kali gives you a cut of his winnings, because you've filled the "supporter" role nicely during this game ;).

Also, Mystery X could be worth more or less than £35,000, so I don't understand the logic behind treating it as that value.

Anyway, on with the game.

[2] - £3,000
[14] - £100 - The last official blue is gone :D!

>>Offer Button Activated<<

With two reds and Mystery X remaining, this is your offer:

BANKER'S OFFER

£26,000

Remember, the £75,000 is still in play, and we don't know what Mystery X is worth. Also, you have a guaranteed £1,000 in bonus money, and there's also Box 23. Think carefully about this one.

Deal or No Deal?

Holy boats, you're brave. Good luck to you, my friend.

[22] - £5,000 :D

This is phenomenal. Just a short time ago, your Idiotest was on the brink of collapse. Now, you might walk away with a massive amount of money.

One box has a known amount inside. The other remains shrouded in mystery. Take some time to think over this offer.

BANKER'S OFFER

£50,000

If you decline this offer, you will be guaranteed the swap.

Deal or No Deal?

If mystery x is a blue then a generous offer. I have no regrets whatsoever even if 75k is in my box. I am a power 5 winner lol

Okay, so £50,000 is yours. Congratulations :smt023!

Now, let's see what was in the remaining boxes.

[11] - Mystery X - It was in your box the whole time! We'll find out what it was worth in a minute.
[19] - £75,000

It's now time to reveal the value of Mystery X.

Before the game, I wrote out the 10 Mystery X amounts on cards. I then left the room while a friend sealed each one in an envelope.

I then asked Ben to serve as our Independent Adjudicator and choose one of the envelopes at random. He apparently doesn't respond to fan mail (or is afraid to), so I then offered the task to hogwild94, who accepted it. He selected envelope number 3, which I then set aside. I'm now going to open that envelope. Once again, here are the 10 possible values.

£3
£75
£150
£300
£8,000
£17,000
£26,000
£60,000
£110,000
£200,000

Envelope number 3 contains:
£17,000

And now, it's time for Box 23. Here are the six possible scenarios.

£100,000
£75,000
£50,000

£25,000
£12,500
EL ZIPPO

Would you like to risk your £50,000 on Box 23, Kali? Deal or No Deal?

Are you insane? :Jimmy_is_great

Dealing Box 23 to these stakes is the equivalent of turning down an offer above the mean. :eyes: :eyes: :eyes:

Yeah, I have to agree with Ben there. That is insane. Most people wouldn't do that. I know I wouldn't.

But hey, since you said Deal, let's play it out.

I used the same process to determine the value of Box 23 as I did for Mystery X. hogwild94 selected envelope B, which contains the following:

MONEY BACK

Combined with the £1,000 bonus you picked up earlier in the game, you leave us with £51,000, and a passing grade on the Idiotest. Thanks for playing :)!

Next time, the Smart Money Jackpot will be worth £550,000. Will someone win it? Find out next time on Idiotest: The All-New Deal or No Deal. Until then, this is Mark David reminding you not to be an idiot. See you next time.

Yes, you did, as you basically sold a £17,000 box for £50,000 :).
