A montage of past moments on the UK version of Deal or No Deal is shown.

Noel Edmonds (opening a contestant's box): "You are the 107th member of the 1p Club."
*BUZZ*

[IDIOT]

Noel Edmonds (opening Box 23): "You are the 34th member of the Nothing Network."
*BUZZ*

[IDIOT]

Noel Edmonds (opening Box 23): "You are the fifth member of the Half-Penny Club."
*BUZZ*

[IDIOT]

Noel Edmonds (opening a contestant's box): "You just sold the quarter-million for £5,000."
*BUZZ*
X
[IDIOT]

The scene shifts to a darkened set with a solitary presence.

Hello, I'm Mark David, and your first Idiotest begins right now. Did the people in the preceding clips make the right decisions? If you think so, then you're the dummy. This is the show where every decision is important, and the right ones can lead you to thousands of pounds in cash. But be warned, make the wrong decision, and it may come back to haunt you.

The set illuminates.

Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to Idiotest: The All-New Deal or Deal!

The audience applauds, and the show's logo is seen on-screen.

These 22 red boxes contain various amount of money. One of them holds our Smart Money Jackpot, which is worth £500,000. Will it be won today? Let's find out as we meet meet the man who's on the hunt for the big money, kall4i59!

The audience applauds.

Kali - I'm going to call you that from now on - welcome to the game. We're going to put you through a series of tests that will examine your ability to make decisions under pressure. If you survive them, you might win some serious cash. Right off the bat, you have a decision to make: would you like to pick your own box, or would you prefer to let our Random.org randomizer pick one for you?

Okay, Box 11 is yours.

Here's a look at the money you can win.

£1
£2
£5
£10
£25
£50
£100
£250
£500
£750

Mystery X
------------
£1,000
£3,000
£5,000
£10,000
£20,000
£35,000
£50,000
£75,000
£100,000
£250,000
£500,000

As you can see, we've raised the top prize to £500,000, which is our Smart Money Jackpot. That amount will increase by £50,000 per game until it is won. Also, we've removed all the pence amounts, and added a new box called Mystery X which contains one of 10 extra amounts. Box 23 is still available, as is the Offer Button, but we'll get to those later.

Your Idiotest begins with the MarkWorks £6,000 Opening Round. If the Smart Money Jackpot is still in play at the end of this round, you'll win £1,000 in bonus cash. If you take out the £1 within your first three selections, you'll win an extra £5,000.

With that in mind, I wish you all the best of luck. Please pick your first five boxes.

Ben, only you and I would ever get that ;). It's fun when you're not the only North American on the forum.

Anyway, speaking of the game, it's about time we opened those boxes. Here we go.

[5] - £5
[10] - £500
[15] - £250,000
[20] - £10
[4] - £750

Aside from losing the quarter-million, that was not a bad round. You missed out on one bonus by not revealing the £1, but you did secure the other one by keeping the Smart Money Jackpot in play, so well done. You are now guaranteed £1,000.

Your first offer is on its way, but first, it's prediction time. Get within 10 per cent high or low, and you'll activate the Offer Button. Get the offer right on the nose, and you'll get that plus a bonus of £2,000.

We'll get your prediction right after the break. Stay tuned.

Kall, if I was you I'd change that prediction to £13,500. Remember, this is a £500,000 board.

Note: If you use my suggestion, you have to give me 10% of your winnings as a fee for my financial services, dearie. ;)

Welcome back. Kali has locked in a prediction of £13,500 for the first offer. Now it's time to see what the offer really is.

BANKER'S OFFER

£14,000

Let's take a look at that on our Rangeometer.

Spread: £12,600 - £15,400
Prediction: £13,500

You're right near the middle there, so the Offer Button is yours. Use it wisely.

Now, are you ready for the question?

Kali, if you win anything significant here on Idiotest: The All-New Deal or No Deal, I think you'll have to give Ben a cut. You can negotiate that with him later. Ben, whatever you do, don't pull a Rick Harrison on our British friend ;).

Anyway, let's open some more boxes.

[8] - £50,000
[12] - £35,000
[16] - £50

Bit of a dodgy round there. Here comes your offer.

BANKER'S OFFER

£17,000

Deal or No Deal?

Drat, double drat and triple drat!

I can't see your avatar on my computer, Ben, but hey, it's a historic moment for you, as you've never had an avatar before :smt023.

Okay, let's get back to the Idiotest before this becomes Le Banquier ;).

[3] - £100,000
[6] - £20,000
[9] - £1,000

Ooh, an all-red round. It's not great, but it's not terrible either. The Smart Money Jackpot is still in play, however, as is Mystery X.

Before we get to the offer, here's what Box 23 has to offer.

DOUBLE
+£25,000
MONEY BACK

HALF
QUARTER
EL ZIPPO

Speaking of, here's what Mystery X could be worth. If you've seen Affari Tuoi before, you'll know how this works.

£3
£75
£150
£300
£8,000
£17,000
£26,000
£60,000
£110,000
£200,000

And now, here is your offer.

BANKER'S OFFER

£19,000

Deal or No Deal?

All right, here we go.

[1] - £250
[18] - £25
[21] - £500,000 :(

The board:

£1
£2
£100

Mystery X
------------
£3,000
£5,000
£10,000
£75,000

The Smart Money Jackpot is gone, but you still have a shot at passing this Idiotest. Mystery X and £75,000 are still in play at this point, and you still have the Offer Button as well. The offer's going to take a huge hit, though.

BANKER'S OFFER

£5,000

Deal or No Deal?

Righty-o. Let's open 'em up.

[7] - £1 :D
[13] - £2 :D
[17] - £10,000

The board:

£100
Mystery X
------------
£3,000
£5,000
£75,000

That was a much better round. You kept the £75,000 and Mystery X in play, and you still have access to the Offer Button. Let's see what your offer is.

BANKER'S OFFER

£10,000

Deal or No Deal?
