Back to regular rules, so pick your box and two more numbers 1-22 for the shift.

1 - £1,000, so it's a good thing this wasn't the special, then.
3 - £750. Squeezing from the middle, a small shift each way gone already.
5 - £20,000, not what we wanted but not disastrous.
7 - 50p! One of the huge downshifts gone!
11 - £250, and that's another small downshift out of the way!

Set up nicely for the first shift... 1-17.

13 - £10,000. The loss of the standard upshift does more damage than the amount there...
15 - £15,000. And much the same there really... a low blue would help now.
17 - £5,000! Oh, OK then, you're going to do this the dramatic way.

With a downshift odds-on and a huge downshift and huge upshift each more than a one-in-five shot, this could be a pivotal moment in the game. 1-14.

Normally that would have been a great round. In this game it was quite bad!

Ignoring 25%, because even if that turned up and sent £250,000 down, what it would go down to would still be respectable in my eyes, it becomes a normal game with 5 blues and a slightly better Power 5. I would not accept £25k with all 5 of them intact in a normal game so NO DEAL!

4,8,10.

Alright! All well-reasoned decisions are to be approved of in my book... let's see if this one works.

4 - 1p! Perfect! Looks like it's working so far.
8 - £100,000! Oh.
10 - £35,000! At least it's not a huge shifter... 1-8 here, with a 25% chance of a huge increase.
