The banker says you'll be a fool to turn this one down... £19,300.

Quote:
X-------------£3,000
X-------------X
X-------------X
X-------------£50,000

It comes down to how much self-belief you have in your box 16...

DEAL OR NO DEAL?

The banker calls back.
He says if you had faith in 13, you can swap for it. He says play like you would've done...

SWAP OR NO SWAP?

Bugger, I hate the hypo-swap but if I have to play as I would have done - yes, I'd have swapped...

*should keep quiet about lucky numbers and belief in future  *

Your new box is box 13...

Did you squander £50,000 and was your instinct right?

Image

No! You would've given away the £50,000... which would've been a disaster if you were in play.

Your new box 13 contains £3,000. You spank that banker!
However, your old box 16 would've done you proud and you'd have won £50,000

I guess that's an OPW? :ponder: Or is it a TBW because of the swap?

Either way, well done on £19,300

It's an OBW because I sold a £50,000 box for £19,300 (remember, I dealt with £50,000 on the table, so that's what I sold), but it's an OBW that carries no regrets!

Thanks for the game.

Nice. Although wouldn't the offers have been a bit out of whack because on this version you can't change the 50p to £20k that easily as 'no value can be lower than a previous box' (you'd have to change all the amounts in between) and you obviously (as shown by the 'took £19,300' greyed-out box in the screenshot) used the in-game offers (which are always around the FD, unless you change the settings - and you have to do that every single fricking time you load the game up).

Still, the offer pattern worked nicely this time actually - the eight-box offer was a believable joke and the rest quite well-pitched. I'd have done the same if I hadn't taken the eleven-box offer, which I'm really unsure about (would have taken it if I'd clued into the pattern, but I wouldn't have been able to from just the offers alone). Good result for Lewis, who took the highest offer and would have won less if he'd No Dealt yet still gets an OBW. Everybody wins? :D

Haha, I worked out the offers using my finger and a calculator ;) (Half of the mean usually)
