Right.

The board is:

£5
£100

£15,000
£35,000
£100,000

And the offer is a HUGE £24,000.

More information...

I found the other 3 of the power 5 very early on in the game.
I've had pretty much 3 good rounds in a row.
I always have bad luck at Dilian 04 games.

What would you do?

No idea but leaning towards a no deal due to the stability.

That's a bit high, especially with the FD at aroundabout £16,282.84. :-D But then, the FD's ridiculously low from 11-box onwards, so that's nothing to go by.

Also, the fact that

a) you found the other 3 of the P5 early in the game
b) you've had pretty much 3 good rounds in a row, and
c) you always have bad luck at Dilan04 games

is completely irrelevant. Dilan04's game is random, so you never know what'll happen. I too suffer from Dilan04 bad luck syndrome nowadays. Back in the day...

Anyway, with the mean at £30,021 or thereabouts, and the FD at £16k (although like I said that doesn't say/do anything) £24,000 is nicely perched, but definitely with those 3 reds, 2 of which are a)megan money and b)higher than £24,000, I'd No Deal.

Like Tom Hanks and his football on that island in 'Cast Away', it looks like it's just me and the bots here now. But that's alright, we're having a grand old time. Aren't we, Wilson? WILSOOOON?!

A few of us who were once part of the furniture, once stalwarts of the grand and extravagant, exuberant and thriving forum, have receded back into the walls, still faintly visible, still here as poignant, reminding relics of an era gone by; but most of us have vanished, forever immersed in the mists of time.

I would like to think I would take a gamble and no deal as it's a once in a lifetime opportunity but I would probably deal.

All the dealers would've been right!

So then Laura was a greedy bitch for declining £45,000 and winning £250,000? Gaz was a greedy *beep* for declining £35,000 and winning £100,000? The game is based on greed due to the fact the objective is to win the highest amount left on the board (as it is the best possible outcome you can expect at the time)

TBH I think dealing a target sum is more greedy as they are just taking anything that comes to them as they have come on the show to grab a few grand without even playing the game properly.

If you want my honest opinion (which you won't) yes. They were greedy, and it paid off for them. Being greedy isn't always a bad thing you know.

I have the exact opposite opinion to that. Wanting more and pushing the game to the limits is far more greedy than accepting an offer and being happy with it.

Ah, welcome back Lakey! :-D (ie is lathebault wakey by any chance? Unlikely due to his posting style, but you never know)
Anyway, yes I sort-of agree with cookie but then, you have to be "greedy" to win the big money.

BBBBUT that means that no one can win the big money without being greedy... hey that's the point in the game though? It's a greedy game by nature perhaps?
