Extreme right-wing blowhards. They’re a big problem here in North America.

People who force their political views on others (see above).

Anti-Semites. I’m Jewish, and we take a lot of crap from some intolerant people.

People who disrespect or objectify women. That really pisses me off. Women have rights too.

People who try really hard to be “gangster.” You British folk call them “chavs.” They always wind up looking like complete idiots.

Unfair handouts on game shows. Today on Let's Make a Deal, Wayne Brady gave a contestant an extra $1,000 (on top of the $2,000 he already won :smt019 ) just because he was in a wheelchair and planned on giving some of the money to his bobsled ice hockey team. :smt011 And don't get me started on the excessive handouts on celebrity editions of Deal or No Deal in other countries. :x

A few of us who were once part of the furniture, once stalwarts of the grand and extravagant, exuberant and thriving forum, have receded back into the walls, still faintly visible, still here as poignant, reminding relics of an era gone by; but most of us have vanished, forever immersed in the mists of time.

When I love a programme such as Corrie and there's a thread on this other forum I go on called 'Coronation Street - Suspension of Reality' which has people moaning about every little flaw Corrie has in it's stories and plots. Really grates on me.

The repetitive posts on Facebook like "like for a mail", "hate being single, need a bf" and girls moaning about other girls posting pics showing off their boobs or bum.

The fact that they don't seem to use traditional animation in animated movies anymore, it's all totally CGI. Don't get me wrong, the 3D movies are good, but for goodness sake, bring back the variety and the traditional hand-drawn and part 2D-Part 3D animation

It's just sad that so much traditional stuff in music, movies etc. seems to be getting ditched in favour of modernized, computerized and homogenized stuff :smt009

Oh god, seeing my old posts like this makes me so glad i'm no longer in my nostalgia phase.... :|

Vending machines do occasionally. Today I was trying to buy a drink out of one said device, let's say it cost £1.20 for sayings sake. It took a 50 pence coin no bother...but didn't take either of my £1 coins! There wasn't even a button to press so that I could get the 50p back. Annoying!

Perhaps they were newer coins? I know I've run into that problem here in Canada with some of our newer 25¢, $1 and $2 coins before. Sometimes, the vending machines don't take them, and you have to rifle through your wallet for older versions of the same coins. When you find that you don't have them, it's very annoying.

When newspapers/magazines claim on the front page that a female celebrity is 'revealing all' (body wise) and then when you look they're covering up everything. I realise they do it just to entice you into buying it but it's still rather annoying and deceitful lol.

Could have been. I can't tell the difference between old and new though! :P

Vending machines are a rip off these days. I recently saw one that takes £1.50. I'm not going to pay that much just for a bottle of Diet Coke! :smt019

Amen, brother. You know inflation has hit when the drink that was only $1 during your childhood is now going for $2.75 or even $3. I don't know what that is in pounds.
