That it is! We're definitely playing closer to the mean here, just a shame it's a much lower mean ;)

Box 13 - £8,888 is... OK? Maybe?

Box 15 - £14,750 is a worse version of same, and now a blue would be very much appreciated...

Box 17 - £42,000! No such luck.

Not so stable now, but if we can hit some blues that'll change things a bit!

Box 2 - £10! That's one...

Box 19 - £55,000! That isn't. :(

Box 20 - £19,000! Yikes, total two-box game ALREADY.

At the third offer, it's looking like his game for sure...

BANKER'S OFFER

£4,000 ON NO-DOWNSIDE 23

Would give you a free shot at getting to £8k or £9k with the two positive options on that menu! Deal or No Deal?

We need to prevent the first offer being the biggest!

Box 4 - £81,000! RELENTLESS... spoiler boxes on for the one-box game...

Box 8 -
£500, yay?

Box 10 -
£1, yay!

At 8-box... there's still the chance of winning £128,000 I guess?!?

1p
10p
£5
£50
£250

£118
£2,800
£64,000

And once again we go "down and around" - less money, a different twist around it.

BANKER'S OFFER

£1,500 + SURFACE PRO 6

That Microsoft Surface Pro 6 is a Windows tablet with an Intel Core i7 processor, 16GB RAM, and a 512GB SSD. It's worth £1,619.95 courtesy of John Lewis & Partners... that would be safe, then the £1,500 would have an unadjusted Box 23 option. Deal or No Deal?

Oh Jay-sus.

The danger needs no explanation, though if £64,000 is in 16 or 18 (as that’s staying to the end) there is actually no danger!

I’ll give the banker a hint, if he can find something suitably cocktail themed to add to an offer he may get me out, but not yet! No deal.

If it's not in one of those, it's 50-50 whether the disaster happens this round or next. If it is in one of those, as you say, you're safe.

Here we go.

Box 6 -
£2,800, so there really is no fallback now.

Box 9 -
10p! No nightmare finish at least?

Box 14 -
£250! Still alive!

2 in favour, 2 not. The question becomes ‘Is it enough of a risk to potentially be back where I started?’

Nothing seems to have worked since round 1. No deal!

Had you said yes...

There were 5 items in your list. Here they are in random order:

-£5,000 (NOTHING)
-£7,500 (NOTHING)
BONUS (£10,000)
MONEY BACK (£5,000)
DOUBLE (£10,000)

IP: 81.104.176.120
Timestamp: 2019-07-03 13:32:14 UTC

...that would have worked out, but I imagine some of the statisticians would never have forgiven you. :P
