This is your 8-box. I checked, there's actually eight on here. ;)

1p
10p
£100
£750

£3,000
£15,000
£50,000
£78,750

Because of the mess earlier, you have two predictions left to use, counting proveout as well as live play. Are you using one here?

Thank you, Banker.

Speaking of similarities to real games, this is virtually the same 8 box as Anthony from March 2014, and he was offered £8,888, so let's go for that........

PLAYER'S PREDICTION

£8,788

...... minus £100 to cover £8,000. ;)

The Banker thought you might go for £9,900 here...

BANKER'S OFFER

£10,500

...so he dodged the 5% band from that, and meant that this time you really do lose that second prediction! :(

It is, on the other hand, a more generous offer than you were anticipating, so there's that. Does that mean it's time to go? Box 23 adds complexity to that of course with one prediction left but an EV+ menu locked in... Deal or No Deal?

I would've taken Anthony's £8,888 with early 2014 offer patterns, but this Banker is considerably more generous in the endgame.

Let's hope I can pull an Anthony finish as I say NO DEAL and go with 10, 8 and 6 next.

Well, that's an interesting setup!

Box 10 - 10p! Well it won't be the Igor finish!

Box 8 - £750! One away from a 5-box you'd never have imagined earlier in this game...

Box 6 -
£78,750! Stinger. :(

BANKER'S OFFER

£8,500

You won't get much closer than that! Only a 1.18% miss, just outside that 1% band for three options, but you can have two... and it's an interesting choice too, DOUBLE or +£5,000!

I'd probably take the Double, the +£5k doesn't allow enough leverage for any conditional offers going forward and only a mild save at the end if the main game doesn't go well!

I'd definitely want more than a 20% of £5,000 as a lifeline in case of a low blue win, so with the 30% disaster chance and an offer of nearly two thirds of the mean I'll just add the DOUBLE and DEAL the £8,500.

2, 4 and 9 would've been next, and I would've swapped for 19.

Pretty sure I'm taking Box 23, but let's make sure I'm not potentially selling the £50k for nothing before I confirm.

It's a DEAL for £8,500 and an interesting statement about what it might mean!

Box 2 - £3,000 isn't the red we were looking at...

Box 4 - £50,000 is! That gives you the green light by the sounds of it!

Box 9 - £100 leaves a 1p / £15,000 hypo-climax...

BANKER'S OFFER
WOULD'VE BEEN

£5,800 AND NO 23

You'd have swapped for 19... and been "rewarded" with the 1p! Box 20 had the £15,000!

So this is where we are. You wanted the green light on this 23 by removing the psychological barrier, and you got it.

TRIPLE (£25,500)
DOUBLE (£17,000)

MONEY BACK (£8,500)
HALF (£4,250)
NOTHING

To confirm, to buy Box 23 for £8,500, Deal or No Deal?

Sensible decision making wins the game. :D

That statement might be a bit premature, though, as I will DEAL Box 23 and go with Option 5, please.

It won you the opportunity to potentially turn what would have been an unmitigated disaster into a very solid result indeed.

Is that opportunity going to actually translate into a five-figure win?

There were 5 items in your list. Here they are in random order:

NOTHING
MONEY BACK (£8,500)
TRIPLE (£25,500)
HALF (£4,250)
DOUBLE (£17,000)

IP: 81.104.176.120
Timestamp: 2019-06-13 22:20:31 UTC

BEN'S TOTAL WINNINGS: £17,000
