Oh wow...

£2,000
FYFFES BANANA BONUS
£15,000
£20,000

£470,000

Well, if you want glory... here's a shot at it. The biggest payout this Banker has ever had to make is £50,000.

BANKER'S OFFER

£50,001

Stop now, and you'd top that! Play on, there's a 60% chance you won't.

Remember, the Banana Bonus is only activated if you hit it this round... there is risk there, but the reward speaks for itself...

...Deal or No Deal?

Well, there we have it... this game is well and truly in monster scare mode now.

Three boxes. If the jackpot survives, an offer the likes of which we've never seen before. If it doesn't, huge Banker relief.

Box 10 -
£20,000! There are times you hate to see that. This... is not one of those times.

Box 16 -
£15,000! We are one box away. If it's the crash, it is some crash. But odds-on it isn't...

Box 11 -
FYFFES BANANA BONUS!!! WHAT A TIME TO FIND THAT!!!!

£3,000 guaranteed, and now the finish... £2,000 vs £470,000!!

The Banker: "I feel sick."

BANKER'S OFFER

£150,003

TRIPLE your last offer. With a chance to more than triple it again. Or to lose an unfathomable £148,003.

What do you even say? Well, you have two choices, Jumble...

...DEAL OR NO DEAL?

150k. That’s a lot.
However, the jackpot is more than triple that so NO DEAL!

...wow.

Well, erm, here we are.

£3,000 is safe. Let's hope that's just a tiny part of your winnings.

The Banker, of course, hopes it's the majority of them. Still possible with that No Deal.

You do have one more decision... and £468,000 rides on it. Swap or No Swap?

So here we are.

The jackpot has not been won since the series started, allowing it to soar to £470,000. You've committed to chasing it, and we all know that when someone locks in on going after the big money, most often it's a shortcut to small money.

But in Doctored Board, the small money is less small, and maybe that's what gave you the latitude to chase the one-box game. All that matters now is whether Box 7 was that one box.

You're going away with the contents of Box 7...

...THEY ARE...

£2,000!! YOU JUST LOST £468,000!!

Well, erm, Box 23.

ADD HALF (£3,000)
+£5,000 (£7,000)
+£2,500 (£4,500)

MONEY BACK (£2,000)
75% (£1,500)
HALF (£1,000)

The Fyffes Banana Bonus of £3,000 is safe and is not part of this equation. To buy Box 23 with £2,000, Deal or No Deal?

OH DEAR... OH DEAR... OH DEAR...

Should've been a LOT less brave!!!!!!! :smt009 :smt009 :smt009

OH DEAR... OH DEAR... OH DEAR...

The 5 box offer was definitely worth taking with it being half of the average in a one bedroom game and the final offer definitely was NOT worth declining with it being six figures and 64% of the average. Should've had the Ben feeling. :smt009 ;)

All joking aside, that was far from the most reckless jackpot chase we've had on this forum. I would've been quite tempted to go on at 5 and 2 box myself, though I almost certainly would've dealt at both stages with there being such a large gap between the top prize and everything else. Heck, I'd argue Jumble was far more reckless in his earlier game with Aaron (though that was mainly because he won and risked mega money on Box 23).
