With the jackpot now at £305,000, it's BEN who's set to step up to the challenge! He'll be facing, of course, one of these six games...

23 BUILD
DOCTORED BOARD
DOUBLE/TROUBLE
IT'S YOUR GAME
MONEY DROP
PRIZE BOXES

...and his selection from 1-6 will determine the rules of engagement for this Banker battle!

Game 3, please. It's your game would be a nice twist to explore. ;)

The board begins with the eleven blues and the jackpot...

1p
10p
50p
£1
£5
£10
£50
£100
£250
£500
£750

£305,000

The ten reds will be selected by you, two by two. There are five lists of sixteen pairs of values. Each pair within each list is intended to be of similar value, with that value differing between the five lists. You will be presented with two pairs from the same list, and you will have to choose one pair to put on your board. There will always be one of these decisions for each of the lists, but the order those lists are chosen from is random.

There will then be a decision to make from a choice of three Box 23 money menus, which we'll come to in a bit.

Here is your first pair of pairs...

£1,025 / £90,000
£4,250 / £77,777

Which of those two pairs do you want on your board?

My first inclination was £1,025/£90,000, so let's stick with that.

Those have been added!

1p
10p
50p
£1
£5
£10
£50
£100
£250
£500
£750

£1,025
£90,000

£305,000

Next decision to make...

£11,000/£92,000
£21,000/£66,666

A stronger list this time, but which pair from it do you want?

I think the question is would I prefer a £10k/£100k finish or a £20k/£75k finish. I'd look for about the same on both (£45k to be sure, but higher than £40,000 would possibly a reluctant Deal), so to be consisent I'll go for £11,000/£92,000.

An intriguing decision is made...

1p
10p
50p
£1
£5
£10
£50
£100
£250
£500
£750

£1,025
£11,000
£90,000
£92,000

£305,000

Now for your third choice...

£10,250/£32,250
£19,500/£20,500

Take your pick...

I think I'd Deal £20,000 on the first finish, so £19,500/£20,500.

Easy decision here. Having an extra £2k on the board certainty isn't worth having an extra blue, so £4,000/£17,200.

Those are locked and loaded...

1p
10p
50p
£1
£5
£10
£50
£100
£250
£500
£750

£1,025
£4,000
£11,000
£17,200
£19,500
£20,500
£90,000
£92,000

£305,000

And now it gets serious...

£38,750/£63,063
£25,500/£86,000

One of those has got to go, but which do you want?

Marginal decision here, so I'll choose £38,750/£63,063 as a shout-out to daniel4389. :D

None of these Box 23 set-ups are strong enough for me to risk a big win on it (though Menu A is close), so I'll definitely go with Menu B for the 60% chance of bailing out a blue win!

And that's your game! You have Box 4 on the table, seemingly as another old-school forum shoutout, and five to open in this round. Good luck!

Let's hope this game rewards good play (which may or may not be Wakeyism depending on the offers ;) ) as we start with 1, 3, 5, 7 and 11, please.

Away we go!

Box 1 - £20,500. There goes one of that pair.

Box 3 - £10! Nice opening letterbox there.

Box 5 - £92,000! Bye-bye, top backup :(

Box 7 - 10p! Symmetry again with the second-lowest going!

Box 11 - £100 is a valuable third blue!

Banker clearly setting things up for a big generosity leap at some stage, which is a good psychological strategy but makes the opening offer a trivial NO DEAL.

13, 15 and 17, please.
