I quite liked the blue £5k, thankyou!
Too bad that's gone now, along with seemingly everything else I liked in this game. ;_; Yeuch. That's disgusting... whatever, I'm not taking a defeatist offer. NO DEAL...
Boxes 8, 20, 13 next?

Sure, why not? They can't be worse than those last three!

Box 8 - £18,000... ugh...

Box 20 - £5 :)

Box 13 - 1p! Well, that's a bit more like it.

The Banker says this board might make for quite a dull game in many cases, but not with a player who can appreciate the intricacy of playing out this kind of scenario!

BANKER'S OFFER

£6,850

Highest offer so far! At £6,850, Deal or No Deal?

I'm glad we're getting somewhere now? Hopefully the upward trend continues, with almost half the board above the offer and only three real blues left I'm quite confident in saying NO DEAL here.
Boxes 5, 18, and 11 next...

OK, onto 8-box we go! Will this logjam remain, or get broken up?

Box 5 - 10p! Perfect!

Box 18 - £4,750, fake blue will still do...

Box 11 - £10,000, not bad as a worst box of the round!

The Banker is enjoying how this board is difficult for both sides to play and can't cost him a mega payout either...

BANKER'S OFFER

£10,000

Oddly generic offer there, but amidst a complex and chaotic board, is that round sum enough? At £10,000, Deal or No Deal?

£10k is... kinda surprisingly round, yeah. Pretty generous too, for that matter!
I think the main thing here is that with only two real blues left this is a much riskier board for the banker than it is for me, and I stand to gain a fair bit more than I can lose here. Even dropping the £50k isn't nearly the end of the world, but a good round can push me forward quite a lot. I'm confident in saying NO DEAL here, and I'm not so sure the Banker will be getting away with a light payout given there's still two P5s up there!

Boxes 1, 7, and 6 to bring us to five...

£50,000 would certainly still be a big chunk of change for him to find!

Box 1 - £8,000, which isn't bad...

Box 7 - £19,500, and suddenly it's a two-box game...

Box 6 - £35,000, and suddenly it's a one-box game!

Well, this is a different game now.

50p
£4,510
£50

£1,000
£50,000

The Banker wonders how you're going to react to this, and also how you'd view 23 if you dealt it!

BANKER'S OFFER

£7,000

Ouch... what a horrific perversion of my lovely stable low-stakes board!
It's another good offer at least, especially given how badly the scales just tipped. Given the logic I used to justify rejecting the previous offer and how this one is a pretty similar generosity, I feel it's actually a pretty easy DEAL for me!

Proveout boxes are 3, 2, and 12, leaving box 21 to the end. Still thinking about 23.

Fair enough! We'll see if £7,000 is the end of it...

Box 3 - £50,000, that's that! And what a collapse that was.

Box 2 - £50...

Box 12 - £4,510 and this "stable" board would've had a 50p/£1,000 finish. Wow.

BANKER'S OFFER
WOULD'VE BEEN

£444

OR

BANKER'S OFFER
WOULD'VE BEEN

£1,400 AND NO 23

50p in 17, £1,000 in 21, that was nice and easy...

...this might not be.

DOUBLE (£14,000)
+£5,000 (£12,000)
+£2,500 (£9,500)

MONEY BACK (£7,000)
HALF (£3,500)
NOTHING

Two of those would give you more than the £10,000 ceiling in the main game. One of those would obviously cost you everything. And then there's the three in between, one of which is what you hold right now...

...to Box 23, Deal or No Deal?

Hmm... there are definitely arguments to be made for and against. It's amusingly a rather stable, low-stakes 23... but the one big negative on there is a BIG one. I'm not sure the upside is enough of a boost to make this worth it. NO DEAL, hypo 4.

And the reveal. Number 4 had...

DOUBLE

But you certainly picked the right time to make the wrong call. It's £7,000 for you!

Well, that's how it goes. Not too bad in the end, given that double wouldn't have saved me had I let the crash play out. Thanks for hosting!
