Good evening and welcome to the début of Season 4 of Aaron's DoND! We have two new twists in the mix, and hoping to land one of them tonight is KP!

    A TALE OF TWO BOXES
    UNLIMITED MINUTES
    RE-REPLAY
    SUPER 6
    TWELVE SHIFT
    SPLIT DECISION

1-6 to determine whether or not we will indeed be playing a new twist!

...yes, yes I would like to be playing under new rules, so I'm playing Dua Lipa and I'm taking echoed instructions from her to pick 1!

Well he may be drunk and alone, but hopefully this will allow you to make him a bit less rich tonight...

    SPLIT DECISION

... and it's exactly what you wanted, Split Decision! We're going to split your usual board up into two boards, a blue one and a red one! That'll be revealed in the next post...

The colour irony aside, the imbalance could cause some pretty intriguing play here!

Seeing as the trial was on a balanced draw, it's really interesting to see it played out on an imbalanced one!

8, 2, 4, 6, 12. There'll be an offer at some point in that run!

Off we go!

8 - £20,000 isn't even that bad news on Blue...

2 - £5 is even better news with the big three there!

4 - £250 is your first bit of good news on Red!

6 - 50p means we'll be in for an offer after the next box...

12 - 10p!! Wonderful news there! BT...

** RING **

The Banker welcomes you to this game, and feels a little uncomfortable making an offer on a board like this given the circumstances!

An odd position to be in, but a great blue 8-box... Would you like to make a prediction here? Remember, no green boxes here, it's just the one for either the Button, Bonus Box or the 23 Boost.

I won't be predicting on it. Partly because I'm not sure what prediction type I'd want!

That's fair enough!

 BANKER'S OFFER

£29,000

You could already guarantee yourself a minimum of £29k from this game, and we've only opened 5 boxes!

Was wondering about the £26k there, going just over 10% above it is definitely a statement of intent.

In isolation, £29k is an offer I'd want to turn down but would surely have to think about taking, and I think when the offer is in that territory in isolation you play the metagame.

Dealing £29k gives me the latitude to chase on the red board, which could be quite influential. Although the specific value of that means that if I land a £35k-threshold BB - and I'd definitely be predicting for the BB with £29k locked in - I might get a strong incentive to not chase the red board!

Both of those offer potential benefits on some level, so I'll DEAL the £29,000 on metagame grounds.

Offer will come in at most three boxes, and 14, 16, 18 are next up.

Alrighty, and that's a first for Aaron's DoND! First offer deal, and £29k is in the bag! 17 boxes left out there, and I'm betting a lot more game if the boxes allow! We play on, there's still up to £50k up for grabs on Red...

14 - £50,000 - well, not anymore... and it's offer time! BT...

The Banker's actually quite pleased he's got you out with a deal so early, gives him plenty of time to think of how he wants to twist this!

Now then, you seem to have an idea on what type of prediction you want to make, but is now the time?

Mean is close to £7k, I think he goes closer to it than he normally would in the context of this situation...

...for the BB, I will go for it...

PLAYER'S PREDICTION

£5,999

For a Bonus Box, £5,999 is the prediction...

BANKER'S OFFER

£5,001

... and it's just in 20%, but unfortunately means you're going to need a combined win of £75,000 or more to activate the Bonus Box...

...oh. Blast. Which is the same as missing with the £35k-high board. ;)

May as well chase it unmodified then, NO DEAL. 16, 18, 20, 22, 21.

So we play on, Bonus Box seemingly out of reach, though technically it isn't!

16 - £75,000 would've been a rough start to Round 2 on Blue...

18 - £1,000...

20 - £15,000 would've left the big two until 5-box! Oh my... BT
