We're two away from 100, and I need to think of what I'm gonna do for that one... for the time being, it's BEN to take on the Banker!

Time to employ my new unlimited minutes strategy.

1, 3, 5, 7, 11, 13, 15, 17, 21, 22, 20, 18 and 16 to start. I'll decide whether or not I want an offer after all of those are opened. :eyes:

A mammoth round one, let's see what's left of the board...

1 - £75,000
3 - £50
5 - £500
7 - £10,000

A mixed bag so far...

11 - 50p
13 - £50,000
15 - £100,000! some big damage going on bottom-right...
17 - £250
21 - 1p!
22 - £3,000
20 - £20,000
18 - £5,000!

... and as such, this is what the board looks like:

To 8-box at the very least...

16 - £35,000! Just a one-box game in terms of the mega money now...

14 - 10p! But you're still in it! Is it time for an offer yet?

What a scenario for my strategy to be put to the test.

Had the jackpot been a lower red, I'd have little hesitation in going two more boxes, but as is that feels at least somewhat foolhardy. :ponder:

Before I decide, I need clarification on something: should I request an offer at 6 box, will the 2nd, 3rd and 4th highest amounts be affected or the 3rd, 4th and 5th highest amounts?

If there's an even number of boxes left, it's the two boxes either side of the median and the next lowest amount below that, so it would indeed be 3rd 4th and 5th highest at 6-box.

And yet, still no offers...

12 - £100! Epic, and now, not the biggie...

10 -
£1,000!! FINE! THAT's how you fast forward a game!!

Remember you will need to make at least two phone calls to the Banker, but is now the time for your first?

Since I'll be losing the £15k fallback either way if I don't, I'll ask for my first offer now.

** RING **

The Banker would like to say an official welcome as he usually does in his first phone call, but his first offer is usually much more simple than this! He doesn't want to undervalue you at this stage...

Now then, a crucial call here, and a massive potential uplift if you're close. What will be the prediction?

The textbook offer here is £15,000, so let's go for that:

5S - £2
1M - £7,500
5M - £17,500

It's certainly a welcome improvement on what we had before at the very least!

Of course he can't call back to revise that if he wanted to, so it's in your court at £18,750 with just one amount higher... Deal or No Deal?

With a 5 in 6 chance of being in a better situation than I was when £18,750 was initially offered, I think it's worth at least one more box.

NO DEAL and Box 8, please.

One additional box, and if it's £1 or £2 you're gonna be in a much stronger position...

8 - £17,500! It was your new major back-up, and now it's gone... Time for a 5-box offer, or has that made you reconsider?

No point in not getting an offer after each box now, so its offer time.
