We've still got an actual contest here, folks!

The £9,001 gives me an EV in the £16.5k bracket. Both offers represent an improvement on what I've had so far. Box 23 has diminishing returns with a better result on this setup, as the prize jewel is that +£35k. Of course, that makes the blues less bad than usual, but the upside feels a bit capped.

With a 50% chance of winning more than £18,000, and smile money more often than not even when I don't (including a smile from how round it isn't...), I am going to DEAL the £9,001. I'm not afraid of a 1/6 chance of nothing, I am also not convinced about the merits of playing on with this setup.

5, 3, 1.

And it's a DEAL for the £9,001! Let's see if that was the right call...

5 - £17,500! Out goes your third and final yellow!

3 - £250! Nope...

1 - £50! Oh it would have been a great round!!

£5,000 vs £50,000

** RING **

He's glad of that, because he was thinking of giving you the BG at 3-box, but decided he already gave you a chance with his use of the Replay! At this stage...

BANKER'S OFFER
WOULD'VE BEEN

£19,500

OR

BANKER'S OFFER
WOULD'VE BEEN

£23,456 & NO 23

I'm hoping at this point, you didn't sell one of our Power 5 for £9,001...

20 - £5,000! And you didn't, phew! :) Box 17 had the £50,000!

Box 23 time...

Would have needed the swap offer there, because I'd have turned down both of those offers to be honest! Would have been fine falling to £5k + 23 at all from there if it came to it.

Option 4 here! Anything but the Nothing and it's not a bad result :)

Thanks to your cracking prediction at 11-box, we have this mighty money menu!

    DOUBLE (£18,002)
    +£35,000 (£44,001)
    +£15,000 (£24,001)

    MONEY BACK (£9,001)
    HALF (£4,500.50)
    NOTHING

Given your decision I think we know what's coming, but would you like to buy Box 23?

I'll take that no problem, and I wouldn't have put £50k through that anyway ;)
