Good afternoon everyone and welcome to another installment of Aaron's DoND!

Hoping for a great result in his first game today is STEPHEN!

You've been allocated Box 9 for this game. Good luck! Let's have your first five boxes when you're ready.

** RING **

The Banker's looking forward to a battle with you today Stephen, but he's had to pay a lot of money out recently! He's made a fairly modest valuation to begin with.

Now you have to make three offer predictions in your game to add potential outcomes to Box 23 at the end of the game. Correct predictions add positive outcomes, incorrect predictions add negative ones.

Would you like to make your first prediction at this offer?

Not predicting this first offer, which is...

BANKER'S OFFER

£5,500

... after knocking £175k off of the board! That's your first offer Stephen, at £5,500 Deal or No Deal?

On we go, and hopefully, upwards!

12 - £10!

14 - £1,000! Fine! We need another good box here...

16 - £500! And there it is! :D

The Banker says he's done some simple arithmetic to get to this offer after the round you've just had.

Is that clue enough to tempt you to post a prediction at this stage?

I'll predict.

£7500 in case I'm misinterpreting the hint a little.

Predicting seven-five...

BANKER'S OFFER

£11,000

But it's eleven grand with a band of £9,900 - £12,100! He doubled you, and your prediction is outside of the band! :( We now have to add one of these bad Box 23 options to your current roster:

HALF
-£10,000
QUARTER
20%
10%
RANDOM BLUE
NOTHING

They've been randomised, so I need a number 1-7 to determine which it'll be!

Wrong simple arithmetic I was thinking.

Number 3 is this...

10%
NOTHING
HALF
-£10,000
RANDOM BLUE
20%
QUARTER

Could be the best of a bad bunch if you win a nice sum of money in the main game! Your Box 23 currently looks like this:

DOUBLE
MONEY BACK

HALF
HALF

Also, your Offer Box has been reduced from £25k to £14,000 due to the incorrect prediction.

However, at £11,000 Stephen is it a Deal or No Deal?

I think Aaron was referring to the Fair Deal, Stephen. You can calculate it using this site:

http://www.bothersbar.co.uk/cellar/dornd.htm

You'll have to treat the Offer Box as £15,000, though, and knock about £100 off the figure it gives you. :P

The Banker's wishing you'd gone with the odd boxes all the way up now! He's had to come up with a significant offer now though, which he says would "more than double your Offer Box should you predict and get it right."

You've had one unsuccessful prediction so far, how do you feel about making one now?

I'd go with £19,800 if I were you, Stephen.

I will predict. £22k seems like the upper bound of what he might do here and I believe this covers that:

PLAYER'S PREDICTION

£19,800

Stephen in agreement with Ben! I hope that's your first correct prediction...

BANKER'S OFFER

£20,000

And it is! :D :D £18,000 - £22,000 was the band! Here are those positive Box 23 options...

+£10,000
+£20,000
ADD HALF
DOUBLE
RANDOM POWER 5
TRIPLE
QUADRUPLE

They've also been randomised, so let's have a number 1-7 to determine what we'll be adding!
