The Banker is most certainly not pleased with this scenario, but he thinks he's come up with a price that will stop you from going any further...

... but do you want to predict this one?

I think I'd predict £31,500 for the Bonus Box here.

Normally I'm drawn to 23 Boost in Split Decision, because that 23 has to be used.

Normally I get a game worse than this. :smt046

The low thirties feels logical here, I think the floor is £30k-shenanigans and I'd be surprised if he's gone past £36k... so for the BB, iiiiit's...

PLAYER'S PREDICTION

£32,850

For a Bonus Box on what is proving to be a mega Split Decision game...

 BANKER'S OFFER

£39,000

WAY higher than expected! That's just over 15% out so you will need a combined winnings of £75,000 after Box 23 in order to open it!

** RING **

The Banker wants to come in with an alternative here, but may need a few moments to work it out correctly so as to not make the mistake he made in Leah's game!

Interesting outcome for this, as the Banker will likely offer £74,999 on a £3k/£250k finish now but there's a 40% chance of activating the Bonus Box if KP goes all the way.

He's back in. He'll leave the £39,000 offer as an option..

 BANKER'S OFFER

£39,000

... but also wants to give you an alternative to consider:

 BANKER'S OFFER

£63,000 & NO UPSIDE BOX 23 & LAPTOP

That laptop is this ASUS Gaming Laptop worth £2,399.95 at John Lewis & Partners. If you then kept all of that £63,000, then a £12k+ win on the Red Board will take you into the Bonus Box!

Some food for thought, there...

I like his style. That forced-23 has a £63k/£63k/£63k/£31.5k/EL ZIPPO outcome set, that is an excellent and shiny laptop I'd definitely actively value, the EV is... £46.1k.

Given the value-add from using 23 on the other board, I don't think that risk premium is worth it, although the BB makes it close. I'll DEAL £39,000 and see what chasing happens on red.

15, 19, 21. That order.

£39,000 is yours!! You need another £36,000 if you want to open that Bonus Box, so let's keep the £35k and the £50k and take him for even more...

15 - It's red...

... and unfortunately, a de-facto one. £35,000! My word...

... so it's Banker Time again...

The Banker's says that if that was a normal five-box, this may have been half of what he's now offering. But if you take £50,000 you get that BB...

BANKER'S OFFER

£12,500

Split Decision is a funny old game!!

£12,500 on that 23 is £32.5k/£25k/£12.5k/£6.25k/£0, EV in the £15k range (overall £54k). I'd have to hit two 40% chances (£50k-high 2-box, positive 23 option) to get any BB action (and I'd still be buying 23 with the £12.5k because I wouldn't take the otherwise-lower-EV move of buying 23 for £39k when only a 20% chance gets me the BB).

DEAL. The only reason to turn down an AMO is the peripheral aspect, and I do not value that nearly enough here.

19, 11, 13, 9, 7, 5, 3, 1 is the order.

£12,500 is yours, taking you up to a preliminary total of £51,500! Let's see if that remains as we see how this would have panned out...

19 - £750 would've been what we needed to start that round...

11 - £1! The next red HAS to be the 50...

13 - £250,000!! That's a relief! Now the 50 and 75...

9 - £75,000!! BRILLIANT :D :D

7 - £50,000! Talk about a total collapse...

£100 vs £250...

BANKER'S OFFER
WOULD'VE BEEN

£175

OR

BANKER'S OFFER
WOULD'VE BEEN

£8,175 & NO BOX 23

5 - £100! That would've meant you'd have won £250 from Red...

3 - £10!

£500 vs £3,000

BANKER'S OFFER
WOULD'VE BEEN

£1,492 & Vangelis' '1492: Conquest of Paradise' soundtrack album

Box 1 had the red £250...

Box 8 had £500 and 17 had £3,000!

Decision time...

Money menus up...

    Box 23 with £39,000:
    DOUBLE (£78,000) [£90,500 & BB]
    +£20,000 (£59,000) [£71,500]

    MONEY BACK (£39,000) [£51,500]
    HALF (£19,500) [£32,000]
    NOTHING [£12,500]

    Box 23 with £12,500:
    DOUBLE (£25,000) [£64,000]
    +£20,000 (£32,500) [£71,500]

    MONEY BACK (£12,500) [£51,500]
    HALF (£6,250) [£45,250]
    NOTHING [£39,000]

The latter is the safer play, but the former is the only way to crack open the Bonus Box...

David, how much would you like to purchase Box 23 for?

I thought about this, and it's got to be £12,500. No BB chasing for me here! Tinchy for the option ;)

No BB tonight, but to take us up to potentially £71,500...

Here comes Option 1...

... and it's MONEY BACK! Nothing lost thankfully!

    MONEY BACK (£12,500) [£51,500]
    NOTHING [£39,000]
    +£20,000 (£32,500) [£71,500]
    DOUBLE (£25,000) [£64,000]
    HALF (£6,250) [£45,250]

And there we have it! Some great luck and timing on both boards has gotten you out with £51,500 - well played, and thanks for playing!
