Don't watch Golf much so I wouldn't have got those. I did get 5/5 for the Tits & Finches question! LOL at the audience reaction! :laughing

Sorry for double post but it's the 300th show tomorrow! :D
Today was brilliant. Pointless answer in the picture question in round 3. I got Metallica for James Hetfield in round 2! :D
Also, the losing score was very low in round 2. Just 20 points!

Can I just say I got a Pointless answer for yesterdays (Tuesday) final round. I said "Contagion" for Jude Law movies.

And hilariously, it's the only Jude Law movie I know. :-D

Well, that was certainly a dramatic 300th show. Those ladies were really unlucky really; they played really well, and would have deserved the money if they'd won it.

And that chap who missed out on a Pointless answer by one letter in Round 1, and went out as a result was also unlucky.

The extra bits with Alexander and Richard celebrating the 300th show was quite amusing. Richard's quite tall, isn't he?

Oh yeah, and I got a Pointless answer in Round 1, with Peter Serafinowicz. :D

I've seen all the Star Wars films but I'm rubbish at coming up with the actors.

I've never seen any of the films... though I've seen bits of them. I would have got a 100 in that round, as I didn't know any of them.

I would have quite liked to know whether Liam Neeson would have been a Pointless answer, as thats what I would have gone with and Richard said there were many Pointless answers that they didn't have time to go through... :ponder:

He's 6ft 7in and is ENORMOUS! He walked past me after I'd been to a recording of Pointless, and he towered over me (I'm 5ft 6½in).

That was a good show today. As Richard said, who'd of thought those chaps would've won the Jackpot when the chap said 'telephone' in the first round (words ending in 'phone').

So series 6 is back on and the jackpot is now at £14,250! The record so far is £15,500. Will it be beaten?
Also, series 7 will start after 6 has finished.

Well it wasn't beaten but today's players won £14,750 and they got 3 Pointless answers in the final round! :D
Not many have achieved that.

Did anyone watch today's show? Silly girl thought 'Unobtainium' was a chemical element! Another guy thought that Money For Nothing was by Frank Sinatra! :laughing

I was more amused by Richard saying quite a few of the 100 said 'Unobtainium'!

As for today's show, I got 12/12 on the Philosophers round! That's what you get from watching too much University Challenge!

£11,000 was won on today's show! :D

I didn't get any Pointless answers in the final, but my parents got a Pointless answer in the Head-to-Head. And I got the Lion King for Rowan Atkinson films, which scored 8.

Only saw a bit of it. I knew that Rowan Atkinson was in a James Bond movie which was on TV a few weeks ago, which was a pointless answer. Couldn't remember the name of it though.

Usually I don't get many pointless answers but today I would have won the jackpot.

Bryan Adam Top 40 songs...

my ones which were pointless where,

Do I Have To Say The Words?

and

Let's Make A Night To Remember.

Ooh, nice one! :D
I could only think of the most obvious ones. '(Everything I Do) I Do It For You', 'When You're Gone' and 'Summer of 69'.
I can't believe how low their first answer scored. 14?!!

I would have got a Pointless answer for "There Will Never Be Another Tonight".

Which shocked me.
