Haha. It's the sort of question that you can work out in your head quite easily within the time limit. There was another question in the last series about which day Christmas Day falls on this year. Again, it's the sort of question that you can work out the answer to if you think about it, but the couple got it totally wrong and lost all their money.

To be fair though, they are live on television in a studio with an audience watching and playing for real money with a time limit, so what seems a fairly easy question can be the most difficult under those circumstances.

Anyone been watching it this week?

The first three players this week were winners, £25,000... £25,000 and tonight £100,000... and just had a couple (the first ever for the show I think)....who lost the whole million on the first question.

It was Justin Timberlake won what award in October for protecting what...They put all the money on the answer to the film he stared in.. Friends With Benefits!

Apparently they misread the question...     Image

And going by the lady's reaction afterwards, you'd think she'd just accidentally killed someone. Image

Needless to say, the people on the Digital Spy forums have been tearing them to shreds. Image Image

OH DEAR... OH DEAR... OH DEAR...

Davina's face when the money drops is absolutely priceless! :smt046

The whole one million pounds on an answer they weren't even sure of? They should have spread their money.

Can't wait to see how Davina handles the pressure of the Drop.

Has it really been two years now since MPD first came on air?

It's probably fair to say, though, that a lot of the novelty has worn off. I haven't heard about new versions in other countries for some time now... :eyes:

At least there can't be any "OH DEAR... OH DEAR... OH DEAR..." moments on there.

Unless a very easy answer gets answered wrong.

I think the worst "OH DEAR... OH DEAR... OH DEAR..." moment was when a couple lost £525k on Q8. That was horrible to watch.

Just noticed that you can now get MPD on iPhone & iPad and play along with the show on there for free. It will be on Android later.
There is also a 'Play Any Time' option but it costs £1.49 to download that.
