Take Me to Church is at number 2? Oh dear :smt011 I'd rather have Gemini represent the UK at Eurovision again than have that rubbish at #2 in our charts.

1 (1) Ellie Goulding - Love Me Like You Do
Meh

2 (2) Hozier - Take Me To Church
Still in two minds about this :?

3 (3) Mark Ronson ft. Bruno Mars - Uptown Funk
Still liking it, but it needs to go now

4 (10) The Weeknd - Earned It (50 Shades Of Grey)
Too slow and boring

5 (5) Kanye West, Rihanna & Paul McCartney - FourFiveSeconds
Not sure if i like it or not

6 (4) DJ Fresh ft. Ella Eyre - Gravity
Not too keen on this. Ella sounds too shouty in this one

7 (11) Maroon 5 - Sugar
Haven't heard it

8 (9) Avicii - The Nights
More generic EDM stuff

9 (8) Charli XCX ft. Rita Ora - Doing It
Haven't heard it

10 (7) Ed Sheeran - Thinking Out Loud
Time for it to go now

Other new entries/re-entries:

17. LuvBug - Revive (Say Something)
It's ok, but the bassdrop kind of ruins it, so, another generic EDM song really

20. David Guetta ft. Emeli Sande - What I Did For Love
Probably his best in ages, but still not his best. Still good though

36. Taylor Swift - Style
I actually don't mind this one

37. Florence + The Machine - What Kind Of Man
Haven't heard it

Here you go...

1 (1): Ellie Goulding - Love Me Like You Do
2 (2): Hozier - Take Me To Church
3 (3): Mark Ronson feat. Bruno Mars - Uptown Funk
4 (4): The Weeknd - Earned It
5 (5): Kanye West, Rihanna & Paul McCartney - FourFiveSeconds
6 (20): David Guetta - What I Did For Love (feat. Emeli Sandé)
7 (NEW): Kelly Clarkson - Heartbeat Song
8 (13): James Bay - Hold Back The River

26: Madonna - Living For Love

----

I need to get round to listening to the new Kelly Clarkson and Axwell Λ Ingrosso singles (seeing as I'll probably be seeing the latter this summer at Creamfields again!), but I won't be rushing to hear the new Chris Brown one :| Madonna's still releasing new music or is that an older song of hers?

Heartbeat Song is really catchy and one of Kelly Clarkson's best.

Haven't heard enough of Something New to make a judgment on it, but usually stuff from the Swedish House Mafia lads is good.

They Don't Know is alright, kinda catchy.

Yes Living For Love is new Aaron, haven't heard it yet.

1 (1) Jess Glynne - Hold My Hand

Really like this, deserved number 1.

2 (NE) Nick Jonas - Jealous

Thought this would get number 1 this week but looks like it'll have to wait till next week, really good song.

3 (4) Years & Years - King

Love this a lot too!

5 (2) Ed Sheeran & Rudimental - Bloodstream

It's pretty good but not his best.

6 (NE) Stevie McCrorie - Lost Stars

Rubbish, yet another invalid winner of The Voice.

Other new entries/re-entries:

17. Pep & Rash - Rumours

This should be rubbish but it's catchy!

22. Wiz Khalifa & Charlie Puth - See You Again

Brilliant and emotional tribute to Paul Walker, worked so well against the background of the movie too.

40. Meghan Trainor - Dear Future Husband

Haven't listened to this properly yet, but at least it won't be her worst song.

1 (1) Jess Glynne - Hold My Hand
Meh. Not a big Jess Glynne fan to be brutally honest.

2 (NE) Nick Jonas - Jealous
I do quite like this actually. He's definitely matured since his Disney channel days

3 (4) Years & Years - King
Really like this, one of my favourite songs of the year so far.

4 (3) James Bay - Hold Back The River
Like this as well, his album is pretty good also. He's quite similar to James Morrison IMO

5 (2) Ed Sheeran & Rudimental - Bloodstream
Don't really like it. The version without Rudimental was a lot better than this.

6 (NE) Stevie McCrorie - Lost Stars
Not interested.

7 (7) Maroon 5 - Sugar
Quite like it

8 (5) Mark Ronson ft. Bruno Mars - Uptown Funk
9 (6) Kanye West, Rihanna & Paul McCartney - FourFiveSeconds
10 (8) Hozier - Take Me To Church
All really, really old now and need to leave the top 10.

Other new entries/re-entries:

17. Pep & Rash - Rumours
Not heard it.

22. Wiz Khalifa & Charlie Puth - See You Again
Quite like this as well, was a fitting song for the end scene of Fast & furious 7. Looking like a contender for next week's no. 1 as well...

40. Meghan Trainor - Dear Future Husband
Catchy but not as good as her previous song for me. And the music to this is pretty similar to 'Dance With Me Tonight' by Olly Murs.

Ed Sheeran pairing up with Rudimental? Doesn't seem like him to collaborate with EDM artists :?

Hope it's not the start of Ed leaving his folk rock/guitar-pop sound and going in the generic pop-dance direction that every other mainstream pop artist is going in

It could be worse. I mean there was a Lou Reed + Metallica collab. :Jimmy_is_great

New number one this week:

1 (22) Wiz Khalifa ft. Charlie Puth - See You Again
2 (27) OMI - Cheerleader (Felix Jaehn Remix)
3 (1) Jess Glynne - Hold My Hand
4 (NE) Dr. Kucho! & Gregor Salto ft. Ane Brun - Can't Stop Playing (Makes Me High) (Oliver Heldens Remix)
5 (3) Years & Years - King
6 (2) Nick Jonas - Jealous
7 (4) James Bay - Hold Back The River
8 (5) Ed Sheeran & Rudimental - Bloodstream
9 (7) Maroon 5 - Sugar
10 (11) Kygo ft. Conrad - Firestone

Other new entries/re-entries:

11. Lethal Bizzle - ft. Diztortion - Fester Skank
21. Iggy Azalea ft. Jennifer Hudson - Trouble
27. Kodaline - The One
39. Rihanna - B**** Better Have My Money

Glad 'See You Again' got to number one - partly because it has meaning, unlike many other rap songs today, and partly because it stopped the dreadful OMI song getting to number one...

Haven't heard Dr. Kucho! or Kygo's songs yet.

1 (22) Wiz Khalifa ft. Charlie Puth - See You Again

Worthy number one and a great song to boot.

2 (27) OMI - Cheerleader (Felix Jaehn Remix)

Really like this; it gets annoying in parts but it gets me dancing.

4 (NE) Dr. Kucho! & Gregor Salto ft. Ane Brun - Can't Stop Playing (Makes Me High) (Oliver Heldens Remix)

This is a great song, love it.

10 (11) Kygo ft. Conrad - Firestone

At first I didn't like this but it is quite catchy.

Other new entries/re-entries:

11. Lethal Bizzle - ft. Diztortion - Fester Skank

This should be rubbish but it is admittedly catchy.

21. Iggy Azalea ft. Jennifer Hudson - Trouble

Not as good as Black Widow but still a decent song.

27. Kodaline - The One

This has a real Coldplay sound to it and it's pretty good.

39. Rihanna - B**** Better Have My Money

Haven't listened to this properly yet.

Hello all, it's been a while.

Here is this year's Christmas Top 10:

1 (NE) Lewisham & Greenwich NHS Choir - A Bridge Over You
2 (1) Justin Bieber - Love Yourself
3 (2) Justin Bieber - Sorry
4 (3) Adele - Hello
5 (5) Justin Bieber - What Do You Mean?
6 (4) Grace ft. G-Eazy - You Don't Own Me
7 (6) Sigala ft. Bryn Christopher - Sweet Lovin'
8 (11) One Direction - History
9 (8) Stormzy - Shut Up
10 (7) Coldplay - Adventure Of A Lifetime

The highest charting Christmas song is at no. 11 (Mariah Carey's "All I Want For Christmas Is You").

Congratulations to the NHS choir for getting this year's Xmas no. 1 :-) haven't actually heard the song though.

Have to say though, it's a pretty dire top 10 in my opinion... waaaaay too much Justin Bieber songs, whilst I'm starting to warm to him as a person, I'm still not a fan of his latest music.

'Hello' by Adele... it's alright, but my goodness has it been overplayed.

I do quite like the Coldplay song though. It's rather different for them, but still rather catchy. The music video is quite amusing as well :-)

So there we are. Merry Christmas to everyone, and a Happy New Year :D

Too much Bieber in the top 10. I do agree that JB is starting to become a bit more likeable as a person, but I still find his music quite dull and generic. For me, JB's songs alternate between boring and hilariously bad, but his latest stuff is probably more the former

'Hello' is a great ballad, but it gets played waaaaayy too much, and it's essentially just 'Someone Like You, Part 2'

'You don't own me' is probably the best song in the top 10 IMO, G-Eazy's rapping does dampen it a bit though :?

Unabashed New Order fan here, and in light of their recent album I'm a little disappointed they didn't get anything into the Top 10. Oh well...

It's a chart record. It's never been done before...

The % / odds of that happening.... no idea.

Anyone know?
