Well it seems these red boxes still have some use after all!

The show itself had supposedly run dry, luckily nobody succumbed to the temptation to Americanize it (yes I used a 'z' haha!) by including a money-builder incentive.

Well the Banker has decided there is one more way to try and ridicule players, whilst also including that money-builder incentive...

Therefore for this brand new series, it is STILL 22 boxes, STILL £250,000 to be won...and STILL just that one question somehow...

Welcome to Deal or No Deal...POT OF LUCK!!!

Yes there is still £250,000 up for grabs, and the very best of luck to anyone who wishes to play! Now as this is the first show we'll learn more about the new rules. In short though it works out that there can be disastrous games, and now the Banker is willing to add their misery to somebody else by adding per blue win, an additional £1,000 to the next game.

The player will then have the choice of deciding whether to add this cumulative amount to their game. But be warned as over time yes this Pot of Luck will grow, BUT it is entirely at random where this amount goes in the game!!! If the Pot of Luck is chosen to be included in the game it would do so by replacing a random box in the game. Yes you read right, potentially you could be sacrificing the £250,000 itself for something far less! Of course if it replaced a blue amount then it helps but that's the risk you'd be making!

In addition to this, the Banker has adapted to a new bad habit over the Christmas period, he has learned to take more risks! He wouldn't disclose what he meant by that exactly, but be prepared as we know he likes to manipulate games!

The first person to test the waters with the Banker's piles is...AARON!

So Aaron, just to be clear here, to start out with it's the conventional UK game board:

1p
10p
50p
£1
£5
£10
£50
£100
£250
£500
£750
£1,000
£3,000
£5,000
£10,000
£15,000
£20,000
£35,000
£50,000
£75,000
£100,000
£250,000

Now the Banker has just rung...he says as it's the first edition of this series he's going to be a good sport and will start with a one-off promise that today's Pot of Luck contains...£10,000!!! It would normally start at £1,000 but as this is the first show I think he wants to see what this could do!

Should you choose to incorporate this into your game, it will randomly replace one amount from the game. So there's risk but today that risk is not as big as it probably will be on another day.

So Aaron, the first thing we will do is allow you to select your own box!

The second, upon confirming your chosen box, as they have all already been sealed by the independent adjudicator, is to answer this question...Do you wish to bring the Pot of Luck into your game...Deal or No Deal?

NO DEAL, Aaron.

You'll regret losing the £250k a LOT more than if you missed the opportunity a switch a blue for £10k.

I think I'm going to keep that pot out of the game for now! Don't want to replace one of my big boxes!

As it is, let's begin with 1, 3, 4, 10 and 22 please!

Well I think it's fair to find out which box first would have been replaced with the Pot...

The answer comes down the offer chute...and it would have been the £250 which would have been replaced!

Nevertheless we will begin once you have selected your box!

You can then re-confirm your first selections if necessary :)

The Banker rings and says as per before you will be allowed to predict this offer as you would normally do, with the 10% variation.

If you choose not to however, then he will continue to leave the prediction open for the next four offers, to which if you choose to accept you would win an offer after each box in the final round, however get it wrong and he will get the opportunity to look inside ANY box remaining in the game. The plus side to this permutation is that you would be guaranteed the swap at the end of the game.

So what will it be?

So to confirm Aaron, you will now be able to proceed through the final round one box at a time!

For now though, the question is £6,000...Deal or No Deal?
