Well, multiplying by 12.5, that's an offer of £15,625 on a £250k/£62.5k/£12.5k/5-others board. Pretty fair, actually.

May I ask what the offer would be if I take out the £20k and two blues? :smt023

Depends on which blues. Probably between £500 and £800. :smt023

£7,000 is truly marvelous. After a game as chaotic as this, I will gladly say:

DEAL :D

I wouldn't have swapped, in case this becomes relevant.

Congrats on your deal! :smt023

OK, so, have we got a Banker spanking?

Noel reveals £20,000 in Saperogo's Box 8. :(

Box 5 contains the £100.

Ah well, you got the highest offer, and that's still a good result. Well played! :smt023

A hard fought comeback, Saperogo. Well done!!!!! It was a perfect match of board and player, unlike most games on the real show nowadays.

Oof. It's actually really strange that the ten boxes I had left at 11-box had at most £5,000. :?

Still, £7,000 and no regrets! :smt023

Will you be sending the money by Paypal or by check? ;)

Well, with that, Saperogo becomes the fifth player of our new era to Deal - all of whom have dealt at 2-box! (This includes ACB's 2-box offer of a swap in his first game, having made no declaration on an offer of £5,250; however, he had requested £6,000 or he would be going on, so I'm assuming he No-Dealt).

He's now the second-highest winner we've had, behind Skyline's magnificent £70,000. However, it's another OBW - the fourth out of seven when you consider that under the definitions, the several OPLs can also masquerade as OBWs with consummate ease; there's nothing really separating the two, I don't think.

Our highest opening offer so far is Archstered's £11,000; he declined it, and went on to win that £50 from his box. Lowest is my own £600, which I was offered after my disastrous first round; that round remains the worst opener so far in the series, at a combined total of £401,000  .
Mine was also the first all-red opening round; we've yet to see an all-blue.

Skyline holds the record for having the best 3-box round in modern history; his fourth round came to just £5.51, and prompted a raise in offer from £2,000 to £10,000, kickstarting his recovery from mediocrity to riches.
As for the worst? That would be Saperogo's second round; after hitting the bottom 3 of the P5 in his opener, he then found £250,000, £15,000 and £100,000 (£365,000  ) and unsurprisingly, his offer plummeted from £6,500 to £600 - he won, of course, that remarkable £7k.

Trivially speaking, on 3 occasions the player has swapped his box; in a nice pattern, this goes once hypothetically, once in active play and one re-swap. In the first game Saperogo hypo-swapped £1 for £500; three games later ACB swapped £250 in his box 7 to win £15,000 from his new box 9 for an OPW (the only of our series thus far); while later on, ACB also swapped away £5,000 for £1,000, however at 2-box he then swapped once more for £3,000. An interesting pattern indeed there.

That's as much as I can think of this early, if you'd like anything more please do let me know. :smt023

Interesting analysis, daniel123!

I forgot to point this out here, but I usually keep 16, 18, and 21 to the end. In my first game, that was problematic; they had £500, £5,000, and £10,000, and I had brought £1 to the table. Yet in this game, they had £50,000, £75,000, and £250,000, and I had brought £20,000 to the table!!!  Can you imagine if I had instead gone with my original system and had a £250k/£75k/£50k/£20k finish with possibly a £250k/£20k climax?

Actually, what if I had swapped the systems, and employed my prime number system here in hogwild94's game and the "shift X boxes over" system in Archstered's game? ...eh, I don't feel like sitting here and computing hypotheticals with such a convoluted system. :eyes:
