10p, 50p and £1 become £2,000, £7,500 and £25,000... how useful will they be?

Pick your box...

1 - £50!
2 - £5! This is how to start, two of the lowest boxes on this board!
3 - £250,000!! Oh. The stability will really come into its own now...
4 - £10,000. There's plenty higher than that...
5 - £7,500. First extra red, but the board can survive it.

A big block of seven here, it's a fantastic £100,000 board and the Banker says a five-figure win feels almost inevitable from here, hence...

Banker's offer:

£10,000

Gah. I sometimes think losing the £250,000 early can help you in a sense.

Good opening offer. Not quite dealable though I don't think. Given the stability of the board I want more than 50% mean.

NO DEAL.

Oh, and 6, 7, 8 next.

Have you worked out my system? :)

Is this the ninth box? Are you going to have Box 10? :D

6 - £10!
7 - £5,000. Top corner, England penalty-takers take note! :D
8 - 1p!!

The Banker says that hitting £250,000 early can indeed help players, as it means they don't get the money fever early and that stops them winning blues... he is confident you're sensible enough to do the same...

Banker's offer:

£14,000

NO DEAL. And a pretty quick no deal at that. Board is ultra-stable. 9, 10, 11.

9 - £20,000. An inevitable hit to the block, and it's the right end.
10 - £50,000. Now the stability is being undermined...
11 - £3,000. That's better!

Halfway stage
£100
£250
£500
£750

£1,000
£2,000
£15,000
£25,000
£35,000
£75,000
£100,000

The Banker realises he can't get you cheaply now...

Banker's offer:

£16,000

Not a brilliant round. Heeping the 100k/75k is good, but the loss of 50k/20k puts a bit of a hole on the right.

The board is still good, if not spectacular. It's been damaged enough that a bad round can hurt me. At 70% of the mean, i'm going to at this point have to say DEAL.

Off to a meeting for an hour. Will answer proveouts when I get back :)

Assuming same strategy we have:

12 - £1,000...
14 - £500! Crumbs...
15 - £35,000, restricting the damage...

Banker's offer would've been:

£20,000

16 - £250! Crumbs...
17 - £25,000, the bonus amount...
18 - £2,000, the other one but still not good!

Banker's offer would've been:

£28,000

19 - £100,000! There we go.
20 - £15,000...
21 - £750!

And predictably enough...

Banker's offer:

Banker's Gamble

Rounds 4 and 5 would have been deals.

Argh @ the gamble.

So tempting. I'm getting a great price on it. But I simply can't gamble £16,000 here with nothing to fall back on. NO DEAL.

You can also read that as I'd have accepted a £15,000+ offer on that finish. Hmm. Am I really turning down 5:1 here :/

As much as I'd miss £15,000 in my account, I'm still sound financially so probably should be taking this 5-1 shot at the mega money.

Sorry Noel. I've done a Mary, I was looking at the NO DEAL neon sign. Unlike Mary however I wish to change my mind.

Banker's Gamble: DEAL

It was definitely arguable either way... and you proved that!!

Box 13 had £75,000 and Box 22 £100...
