Bunney could have done his "(Can't remember the first bit)....let's hope the biggie-wiggie's in 7" song from Daniel's game!

Well I said no-deal at 8-box and would have been quite disappointed with just a £5,000 increase for 5-box - Mark from January did the same and got the offer doubled. Also Big Ron had similar and got well over double for taking out the £5,000! :)

Psychic Sarah has box 10, she predicts it has 50p!

50p

Well played everyone, not quite an OPW but we beat the Banker anyway by selling a £5,000 box for £15,000!

Talking about previously said Mark, he had box 18 containing £5,000 too! :)

That offer was perhaps a bit low given what had gone before, I guess I made too much of the £15k safety net going. £25k would maybe have been a better offer there, increasing to £30k if the £15k had stayed in play. TPW in any case though...

Don't think I could have resisted offering the Banker's Gamble if it had been 50p/£250k - never actually possible though as we had the £5,000 on the table!

In an actual proveout it would probably have been £40k. :D

A lucky escape... but would we have got a Banker's Gamble if that last box had been the £5,000?

No. ;-)

I think the £9,000 offer was well pitched. It took me most of that hour to decide to no deal, because the gains from continuing were low. It came down to two things for me:

The average of the other 10 boxes was £3,426.50, so losing the £250,000 wouldn't have been a complete disaster.

The second part was guessing what the offer would be next round. £9,000 was nearly 35% of the average, and the next offer would have to be more than £12,000 to make it worthwhile. I guessed that the offer would be more, so thought it was worth the risk.

Thanks for the game, Power5, was entertaining to watch and play. :)
