From my point of view, I would Deal since you have no fallback at all.

Btw, can you post an offer on Walsh's game please?

Sarah says, "Think about other games that have had ended up like this - Trevor, Dave and Tan. They seemed to show that it's likely if you go on at this stage it'll end up a disaster. That's why I'd recommend dealing at this stage, but of course it's up to you."

Richard says, "Consider the risk of going on. If you're left with the £100,000, you'll surely get an increased offer, even from this Banker. It depends whether you feel it's worth it."

Hahah, so Sarah said both...

But I like Richard's advice.

Therefore, my decision is to...........

No deal!

The system calls for Liz with Box 16, but she had a lot of big numbers....

Never mind, we'll stick with that anyway. She was Welsh, so she must be lucky.

I admire your bravery to go on so I guarantee I will offer the arithmetic mean as your next offer.

The very worst of luck...

A brave decision - we all really, really hope it pays off.

Liz, open box 16, and show us a blue; it doesn't really matter which.

£100! Yes!!

My, this is terrifying. Reminds me of 1p Trevor's game. Except this next bit will be different!

Kirsty with Box 22, please....

Kirsty, if you reveal a blue in this box, he is bound to get a significantly increased offer. If you reveal £100,000, this game will be another added to a long list of train wrecks. Please, open box 22, and show us 50p or £500!

....

£500!! YES!!! *audience goes wild*

I'm very very very upset, but I'm a man of my word. The offer stands at the arithmetic mean of:

£50,000.25

Code:

50p

       £100,000

Wow...I'm so glad your bravery paid off!

And we're left with an incredible situation where we have one of the pennies against the second highest sum of money!

What will the banker offer?

It's an amazingly generous offer. (I think the only reason the banker made that promise was because there was a 60% chance of the mean being no bigger than £300! Hah.)

You know, I'm thinking that I normally have such appallingly bad luck, the only reason I missed the £100,000 must be because it's in front of me...

But I'm ready for the question.

You're right there. I've been beaten by the better player, unless you deal and have the £100,000 or no deal and have the 50p. It's still 50:50.

**Hangs up**
