Honestly, I think the 11-box offer was the more tempting here, which shows how absurdly strong this is. There is danger in this with the 4-4 split, but the Box 23 upgrade very much reduces the danger.

And the Banker saved millions on the hiatus so he could fund games like this. NO DEAL!

11, 7, 9.

With the Deal Wheel still out there as well, what a 5-box this is!

Every available twist is kicking in here. The inflated reds and crushed orange are obvious, the Banker's button complicates the stop/go calculus significantly, the enhanced 23 does as well but for the better of course, and then the Deal Wheel once revealed could change EVERYTHING... AGAIN.

Money menu is DOUBLE / JACKPOT / MONEY BACK / -£5k / HALF. Which on £26k is... £52k / £136k / £26k / £21k / £13k. EV is close to £50k there, so that's definitely tempting as a risk premium, though no slam dunk. The offer relative to playing on is in that kind of territory, too - yes there's the jackpot on the 30% disaster chance, yes the EV is over £60k even without accounting for such a bailout, but there's a 24% chance of me going away with £220 or less if I play on. That's fairly yikes.

All three options are viable, and where there's three viable options, I have a tendency to want to go down the middle. The stake level involved with each option here further pushes me towards that. DEAL £26,000.

5, 3, 1 for the proveout.

That no-23 offer was perfectly calibrated to bring maximum regret for Ben. :smt046

17 did a job for me in that one! And the Orange Crush did a bit of a job for the Banker. :)

I suppose when we look at this #MoneyMenu, the question is 'why wouldn't you'?

BOX 23 JACKPOT (£110,000) = £136,000
DOUBLE = £52,000
MONEY BACK = £26,000
-£5,000 = £21,000
HALF = £13,000

With £26,000, would you like to buy Box 23, Deal or No Deal?
