This time the fixed offer is the more tempting... the 6-2 colour balance makes it a good setup for chasing, of course, but even two blues paired with the QM will surely send the offer down. Flipside: not a lot of rounds that don't take out the QM will produce anything but a chunky increase.

At one point, KP could have taken a fixed £70,000! However, he pushed on and dealt a respectable £30k!

Would have taken the 23 offer if I took any at 11-box, which would've been £44k, so my deal point didn't make a huge difference!
